Lansdowne Estuary Retreat

Lansdowne Farm is 5 km from Takaka Township and located on a quite dead end road, with the estuary only 100 mtrs from you deck. We are north facing so you get all day sun and in the evening you can watch the setting sun from you private deck. It is also fun to watch the antics of our farm animals as they do their sunset frolic in the paddocks.

Our farm is managed with organic farming practice and depending on the season we offer seasonal organic fruit and vegetables.

We also have 2 kayaks available for those who want to go for an adventure paddle on high tide, or if you prefer to adventure on land we also have two bikes available if you feel like taking the bike trail to our local Pohara Village which is 3 km away on a dedicated bike trail. The village has a great coffee house and restaurants. We also have a local gallery and some great nature walks close by.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board. Limited housekeeping is available.

Beautiful stay in perfect surroundings

The studio room was clean, bright, comfortable, and as per the description. The area is perfect, with lovely countryside, great beaches, and the charming village of Takaka within easy reach. Having eggs from the farm's own chickens was a bonus.
