December Anniversary trip. Loved the Christmas decorations in every room! Renovations created a lovely upscale stay, super comfortable bedding, lots of extras in the kitchen (Nespresso made amazing coffee!!!), and the electric fireplace made a cozy end to our day. Would love to return with friends to take advantage of outdoor areas!

The room was decorated very nicely. It was very roomy.
Room was good, clean and beautiful decorated for Christmas time. Little bit bothered us presence of some flying smelly bugs, maybe owner can get rid of them somehow. The rest was amazing! Amenities and all!
The room was spotless, warm, inviting and so beautifully decorated for the holiday season. There were no staff on hand since it was the off season but the store was left open for us with instructions how to purchase items using venmo which worked great since we had one person fall ill and needed gatorade. The four people in our party enjoyed the peace of being the only ones on the premises Friday and Saturday. We would love to come again when there is staff at the lodge and bar to get the full experience but it will most definitely be on our "return here" list.
A very enjoyable, three nights stay in this quiet mountain retreat. Our accommodations in room number one were spacious, cozy, with all the necessary amenities (like a full kitchen and soft pillow top king size bed), and thoughtfully decorated. The staff was very responsive to all our needs and questions.
Beautiful lodge with all the comforts of home. Four rooms like a full size apartment. Thoughtful amenities. Our very need anticipated. Highly recommended.
Yes all was awesome, so glad we stayed there. Definitely will stay again

It was easy to find, but really works was expecting a little more land not right off a busy road. There was a sprinkler just to the left of the rock sidewalk, which could’ve been very dangerous if somebody would’ve stepped off and stepped on it and the hose was laying across the stone path That could’ve been moved to make it very clear for people coming in with luggage. It was very beautiful inside and we appreciate being able to contact someone about how to watch TV. The microwave was very confusing not very comfortable having to bend over or squat down to use. It wished it would’ve been up on the top But bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very pretty and clean. All lines were clean. I know it was a beautiful place and peaceful thank you
There is no on site staff to ask questions. I just received a short text message telling me how to get in the cabin.
The room was booked for 5 people but there was only one bed. Rest had to sleep on a futon. There also weren’t enough sheets provided for everyone.
Overall a pretty nice place but more info up front would have been nice.
We really enjoyed our stay here at the North 40 Lodge. Our cabin was clean and very cozy. It is set in a very peaceful location too. It was nice to sit out on the front porch in the rocking chairs just relaxing in nature. I loved there was a parking spot right up front with made unloading and loading very easy! The staff was so helpful, understanding and accommodating. I communicated through text and they got back to me ASAP. The bed was very comfortable, all the fixtures were modern and updated and the shower was nice and hot! We couldn’t be happier with our stay! Thank you so much, we will 100% be back again!

First of all we chose and paid for a cabin. What we got was not even pictured on Expedia. They have a cabin but we were put in a single room off the side of their house. Three rooms are like this and there is 1 cabin. There were so many cobwebs on the porch. We could not find anything to remove them and had to remove with arms. Didn’t like that at all. WiFi is non working. It was a clean room, but misrepresented

Loved my stay. The room was perfect and beautifully decorated. They have a front and back patio and a common area with a TV and fireplace. It was a perfect mountain town experience plenty to do in the area as well, Clayton was only a 20 min drive. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.
I needed a place to stay last-minute for a business trip in the area. My cabin at North 40 Lodge was beautiful and extremely comfortable. Hopefully I can come back when I'm not in the area for work!
