Where to start...it is so obvious that big thoughts and considerations have gone into this home!! From the amazing linens (seriously softest sheets and pillows and fluffy towels!), to the extremely well stocked kitchen (I spend most of my days in the the kitchen and I was lacking NOTHING!), to the very durable patio furniture, the clean pool, the fun amenities like the pool table and digital game table (HUGE hit with my family!) to the extremely great communication! The location is just lovely, rural enough to be peaceful but close enough to explore SO many great natural/state areas!!

There can be no more perfect home to stay in the area. The host sent several e mails throught our stay. Not overbearing, but with helpful information. This home was very clean. There is nothing anyone could need that isn't there. They have thought of everything. The hosts go above and beyond. Most houses have the bare minimum and inexpensive products to get you started. Not this lovely home. The bed linens are silky soft. Multiple rolls of quality toilet paper are provided, not the cheap rolls. If you happened to forget your toothbrush and toothpaste, they have that for you. The soap, lotion and bodywash are wonderful and in pretty bottles. Even poolside there are individual packs of sunscreen to use if you omitted packing you own. The kitchen is very well stocked. This house has all the comforts of home. They go above and beyond on quality.

We stayed here while in town visiting family. The hosts made sure every detail was covered. Between the pool, hot tub, and game room there was enough to keep everyone entertained. The house is beautiful and we will definitely be back!

What a grand stay we had at this home. Simply wonderful. The home was well appointed and very nicely decorated. It had everything we wanted…and more. The back yard and pool were marvelous. We hope to stay again next summer, and it may become an annual trek for us to travel to and enjoy mid-Florida. Lastly, the owners were readily accessible for questions, and they were so kind. Bottom line, we highly recommend staying in this beautiful home. We are grateful we had the chance to do so.

Excellent home, clean, fun, and great location

We had a blast for 3 nights coming to check out the various springs. Everything was less than 30 mins away in any direction so we made day trips for scalloping, kayaking, snorkeling. The house was so fun to come back to after busy morning activities. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and the game room was my kids (and my) favorite room. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked the very scallops we caught that morning later for dinner. Highly recommend this house for location, amenities, and price.

Hidden Gem in Citrus Springs

Can't say enough on how much we enjoyed our stay here (too brief of a stay). The house is beautifully decorated, very spacious, and in a quiet neighborhood. The pool, hot tub, lanai area, and fire pit were amazing. Very relaxing environment. We'll definitely book this again on our next trip to the area.

Best springs vacation spot!

It was our first time visiting Rainbow Springs and I couldn't be more happy with staying at Silver Dollar Sanctuary. Location was perfect, not too far of a drive from the springs. The house decor and attention to detail made it feel so welcoming and immediately at home. We had everything we needed plus some! Not to mention the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and the game room kept the kids (and adults) happy at night for hours. After a full day at the springs it was incredible to get to come back and relax at the pool and play in the game room. Our kids didn't want to leave! Matt and Jerry were wonderful hosts making sure everything was seamless and perfect. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here and hope to make it back again!

Beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay in early March! The heated pool was amazing! We also enjoyed the stocked coffee and toiletries! The game room was a lot of fun too! I would definitely recommend this property and would like to return!

Great place to relax

My wife and I stayed here in January, and we loved it. The house is exactly as you see in the pictures, and the host was great to work with. We would definitely stay here again if we vacation in Citrus Springs in the future.

Family friendly

Truly enjoyed our stay! Two things in particular really stood out. First, the “game room”. We really didn’t anticipate using it much as we had plans to be outdoors, but when the weather did not cooperate, the game room was amazing. It really had something for everyone, and it was an unexpected delight to be able to play pool with my elderly father. The second thing that we really enjoyed was the fully equipped kitchen. Not only was there an air fryer, but we also really appreciated having so many spices available for cooking! It was just nice to not have to purchase a bunch of spices and oils to only use for a few meals. The owners didn’t skimp on anything; there was plenty of pool towels, sunscreen, coffee Kcups, shampoo and soap, just to name a few. We have stayed at many rental properties over the last 15 years in this area and this one is our favorite. Thanks for such a great experience!

Lovely get-away with lots to do under 1 roof

Silver Dollar Sanctuary was exactly that: fully-loaded with things to do, tip-top clean, and very well appointed with lots of pillows, lovely linens & toiletries, and a significant variety of k-cups, spices, and streaming services. During our stay we also enjoyed a kayak tour to see the manatees in Crystal River (10 miles), visited the World Equestrian Center in Ocala (24 miles), and went to the movie in Inverness (12 miles). The hot tub and pool were both enjoyed (in late November) and were found clean and in working order. Any questions that came up were promptly resolved by the hosts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this secluded get-away.

Guys weekend 2024

It was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of amenities. Everything worked. All new appliances. Lots of big screen tvs for watching games or just having background ambience playing. Huge Jacuzzi and heated pool were great. Loved hanging out at the fire pit till late. We mostly just hung out grilling and relaxing. Billiards and gaming table were fun too being that it rained the entire weekend but we loved it. This is a great property for family vacations. Thank you.
