Enjoy a brand new, stylish cottage with an amazing view!
Centrally located with AC, wifi, pool and generator. It's less than 8 mins to the beach, 2 mins to major groceries, 10 mins to restaurants and downtown Christiansted. There is a private driveway and parking. For someone new to the island, this is a great location to get to the different spots and necessities. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of outdoor space and brand new pool overlooking the South shore.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a private pool and an ironing board.

Unfortunately, I experienced several cleanliness concerns during my stay. I found numerous short, thick, curly hairs on the bedding, bathroom floor, toilet, and throughout the floors, which made me uncomfortable using the bed. There were no extra sheets available, so I removed the bedding and used towels to lie on in place of the fitted sheet, along with additional towels as a blanket for the night. The outdoor chairs also appeared dirty and were not inviting to use.The backyard has the potential to be a peaceful space, but the lawn and outdoor area could benefit from additional maintenance and attention. There was also a strong marijuana odor coming from people smoking on the neighboring back porch, which made it difficult to comfortably relax outside. I understand that this may not have been within the host’s control.The host explained that she had changed the sheets herself, so the cleanliness issue may have been an isolated oversight. Although the situation was disappointing, I appreciate that she refunded the remainder of my stay and compensated me for the night I had already spent there, allowing me to leave the following day. I hope more attention is given to thoroughly checking the bedding, providing spare linens, cleaning the outdoor furniture, and maintaining the backyard for future guests.
