Room was clean and amazing shower, lobby areas and reception clean with friendly staff. Restaurant is definitely worth a visit, the food was delicious. Bed comfy, good internet, maybe a fan to cool room is something that would have been nice, but overall a very enjoyable stay. Didn’t use the spa areas this visit so can’t comment and some outside areas around the hotel are maybe still be part of the renovation,

Hotel and staff were good i was charged for use of pool. Not mentioned when booking on hotels.com when complained to Hotels they were not interested DO NOT BOOK WITH HOTELS.COM Book with raddison directly pool is included and discount on food

Overall very disappointed, the hotel is currently under going refurbishment and clearly not finished, we were allocated room over front entrance very noisy lots of people smoking and talking into the early hours. DJ loading equipment at 2am and another at 6am. Room was dirty and windows never cleaned, dust in every corner.

Not the most desirable stay but ok for one night.

The hotel entrance looked lovely, clean and very posh. We were put into a cottage which quite frankly was very strange. The smell was very strong with damp which was very unpleasant. The size of the "cottage" was big there was a kitchenette area with a sofa and table but no television. The surrounding noise from other people was very load and distracting whilst trying to sleep. The drive to the carpark which services these "cottages" was a precarious drive especially late at night through what appears to be factorys and waste land. It is polar opposite to the hotel entrance. The swimming pool was nice however filled with builders! Who were completing work.

Absolutely disgusting place to book steer clear

The room we were given was filthy and despite allowing the duty manager to attempt to resolve the issues, we were still extremely dissatisfied. The housekeeping staff member only hoovered the floor and left mess behind him. There was no attempt to actually sanitise the space even after finding dirty, bloody tissues there. The body odour left behind from the actual member of staff doing the cleaning was also disgusting and stayed in the room after he had finished and gone. We tried to deal with this entire issue at reception at the time but were stonewalled by the manager. We agreed to leave the premises after he assured us that a refund for the room and the breakfasts we had paid for would only be possible via the finance department as he was unable to process a refund due to Hotels.com holding funds for 2 days after the day of the booking. If you need full details of our complaint and the unsatisfactory way we were treat we will be happy to elaborate however the Manager and duty manager are already fully aware of the issues We look forward to a full refund as soon as possible Ps we are also still waiting for the £50 damage deposit to be refunded to us. I hope this can be resolved without the need to contact the ombudsman to escalate this issue further. I am more than willing to do so o xx however as a refund is more than deserved.

This hotel is being renovated and the surrounding properties the pathways unsafe the hotel toilets small no locks Water pressure so poor you couldn’t wash the soap out of your hair or off your skin One member of staff was nice the rest had no idea about anything

Property was beautiful and so were the grounds, we stayed in room 132 but the room was soooooo hot with no windows or air conditioning. The shower was rather freezing cold or boiling hot with no inbetween

Got a double room even though I had.booked a twin so had to go back down to change it. No AC and the room was very hot. Had a fan but it only stated on for an hr or so, had get up in the night to turn back on. Staff were good though, especially in the restaurant.

Whole hotel is poor and needs shutting and refurbishing. Even the newer areas are still poorly finished.
