Amazing Service!

Absolutely fantastic service in this hotel, some of the best I've seen. Extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable and though it's a bit dated the facility is very well kept.

Staff service is excellent!

Software is excellent, that basically is the staff attitudes on customer services and solutions. However the building need to be improved on its hardware, e.g. poor ventilation, room is too hot to sleep despite I open the window and staying at 34/F.

Good but not better, needs a lot of training....

Alrhough the hotel has a well-known brand name, it doesn’t deserve the “five-star” rating: 1. A/C system doesn’t seem to “dry” the air in our room. The bed feels damp and sticky in the month of April. Not even hot at all. 2. The service people in the dining room serving breakfast lacked training. They did not seem to know where to find what kind of foods, now they paid attention to what the entire situation is besides what they are doing narrowly. Nor do they care about customer’s needs. 3. The facilities are out dated. We liked the general manager when met her in the hotel lobby and talked to her for a while. She was very nice.

Overall, the hotel had aged, carpet worn out, single seated couch with foot rest lost its firm discomfort when seated. Lighting level is dim and not functionable to work in the room and the air con in the room doesn’t maintain the comfortable temperature thru out the stay. It was stuffy in the mid of the night and woke up a few times.

Nice hotel Good Mansgement

Service is good. Management leadership is good. General Manager Sharon Frazer , I can always see her taking care of function groups while most staff are young team follow. She always around even night time around lobby watching around. The hotel location is good nearby major shopping n sightseeing Hong Ya Dong nesrby the River. This hotel had nice Cantonese food ( everywhere spicy ) in care you need to try buffet 99 RMB all you can order n eat ( not breakfast style) it’s cooked n service individual dish. However need a little renovation to bring up 5 Star plus status. Service of all staff are great.

Pleasant stay. Impress with their service. Location is great for business n leisure . The management I had to mention is General Manager Sharon Frazier very well manage a young energetic team. She always will be found greeting groups to attend function and and staying late be around to looking after everywhere to ensure everything done well.

I stayed in Room 2413, the separation wall is not soundproof, I was awaken by the next door noise. I will not choose this hotel again and certainly will not recommend to anyone. Other than this, it should be a great hotel.

A nice stay

So this is a nice place, located in one of our favorite areas of Chongqing,Jiefangbei. Sometimes the language barrier comes into affect but not often. The restaurants a good although if you don't do the buffets your wait for menu food can be taxing. Not real happy with their lobby lounge, bartender takes forever to mix a cocktail. Over all a great place to stay.

Perfect Hotel for Tourism

Great location, right in the middle of the action. Very near the river, restaurants, shopping, transportation. Hotel is in great shape, staff is very fluent in English and breakfast offered a wide selection of food. Hotel doesn´t have a very Western feel to it so it might be a good thing for some, not so much for others. I believe it´s about 40-50mins from the airport and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. The room itself was very clean although with a humid smell to it but nothing to keep you awake at night. I'm very picky about bathroom cleanliness and this one was spot on. Overall, you can´t go wrong with this one while in Chongqing. Regards, Jimmy

Great location and spacious room

Great location. Rooms are well appointed, spacious, clean and comfortable. However, I found the room a little too dimly lighted for my liking. During my stay they were running some electrical test. They told guest to not use the lift during this time. Unfortunately, the time period was like 4 hours. I thought this could have been more well coordinated to avoid minimal disruption to the guests.
