Girls Trip

While in Chicago for the first time we stayed at this location. It served its purpose and looks just like the pictures but it could use a few upgrades: in the kitchen the pots and pans need to be updated. Several were rusted and not usable at all. Downstairs it seemed like the renovations weren’t done yet or they were planning on making another bedroom? The layout was very odd. The girls did find some ants down there as well but throughout the house it seemed they didn’t clean very well. It was dusty and floor was dirty. On the bright side though all the restrooms had full size shampoo and conditioners along with body wash. And when we did contact Maria during our trip she quickly fixed the issue. It is a good house but could be a great one with fixing just a few things.

Good place!

Overall our stay was so so great! The area of the house was nice, quiet and safe. One thing I would say is that there were ants so we had to make sure to not leave anything around. The host was very responsive and helpful! Other than that the city was close by and there was a lot of shops/ restaurants walking distance too.

Large group gathering

Our family of 13 rented the house for a funeral. It was perfect . Roomy, clean , and great location. Everything was in close proximity. Would book again. Maria was amazing and very responsive! Thank you!

Large Clean Home in Convenient Location

We had a great time staying in this five-bedroom near Chicago. It was a great launching point each day for all of our activities.We cooked an entire Thanksgiving-style meal and had almost everything we needed (we brought our own baking pans). There was a little bit of a discrepancy between the online listing and the instructions in the house, but the listing owner was very responsive and understanding.

Family friendly home and neighborhood

We booked this house when our condo downtown was cancelled less than 24 hours before our arrival. We were visiting my niece who moved to Chicago 4 years ago. The owners were very accommodating with allowing us to check in early (with a fee). My aunt, mom, and sister drove to Chicago, so having the off street parking was a huge plus. But what we loved most about the house was how "homey" it felt. My niece and her boyfriend was also able to stay with us because there were plenty of rooms. This saved us on a ton of time. The only real down was that I spent a small fortune on Ubers to get everywhere because of the location. And I don't know if that is a negative truly because the neighborhood was so beautiful.

Fantastic stay. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in Chicago for a birthday party. Everyone had their own space. Everyone was comfortable. It’s exactly as described. Only thing is the parking, we had 2 cars. There was only 1 port although the listing says 2. But there’s plenty of street parking so not an issue. The location was great. We did all the tourist related stuff: Shedd Aquarium, Planetarium, etc. everything was 20 minutes or less. The host was nice and communicative. Except for when we did have a minor issue with the front gate: someone in our group locked it by accident so we couldn’t get in. We contacted the host (albeit it super late…around 11pm) but she didn’t respond so we had to figure it out on our own. But other than that, I’d highly recommend this place for large groups.

Chicago graduation trip

Very, very nice. Read the description closely though. I thought there was a geound floor master ensuite for elderly parents. Description talks about the ensuite and then says there are 3 other bedrooms upstairs. All 4 bedrooms are on the second level. It was a super bonus to have the inlaw suite on the basement. We put our young fanmily with the baby down there-perfect.

Great Chicago weekend getaway

I arranged this stay for my wife and her college friends. They said the place was spectacular. Clean, quiet, well decorated, close to the city. She only had one request during her stay and the owner responded immediately. Also, if you are staying as a group there was plenty of on street parking if needed. Can;'t go wrong here.m

Pleasant Stay for Groups

Appreciated that we were able to check in so early with the extra fee. It was a good place for a large group that spent most of their time out in the city during the day. The amenities were passable - but lacking things like dish soap and actual towels for the kitchen. But ultimately - I would not book this place again because there are skylights in several of the rooms - which make sleeping past sun rise pretty much impossible.

Family trip

The house was beautiful. We arrived during a downpour and the basement had water leaking. The owner answered my call immediately and had someone out there to clean it up within the hour. The house was spacious and perfect for us. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The location had quick access to the expressway and was in walking distance to restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place for a big group

We rented this property for our family of 7, all going to a wedding. The space was very comfortable, airy, and nice. The property manager, Maria, was super attentive and responsive to my calls. We had an issue with some neighbors having a party until about 2 am on a Sunday night, but the next day Maria not only apologized but gave us a discount for an extra night we needed to book due to flight delay. She was vey kind and accommodating. My only constructive criticism, is that the house needs a little bit of "handy-man" upkeep. The price per night was not cheap, so I expected everything to be top notch. Most are easy fixes, like scratches on the floor and walls, or drawers and doors without the fixtures. The bed downstairs is also very unsecured. The neighborhood is safe and there are walking options to restaurants. However, it is not in Logan Square and it is not at walking distance from downtown. The kitchen was stocked and the coffee pods where appreciated. We had a fantastic time in Maria's property, and made new family memories that we will treasure forever. I want to thank Maria for her hospitality and for being so flexible.

Great place for families

This house was great for our extended family stay in Chicago for a wedding. The kitchen was well equipped and made it possible to prepare some meals, so it was not necessary to take young children to restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and although it was not very "walkable" that was not a problem given the ages and composition of our family. We were not able to maneuver a minivan and SUV into the garage from the alley, but had no problem finding on-street parking. The host was welcoming and responsive.

The house was spacious and worked well for our large family group. There was a snafu with the cleaning service prior to our arrival but the host was responsive and solved the issue fairly quickly on a Friday afternoon/evening.
