We stayed at this property for 3 nights for a weekend getaway to Chicago. Booking was easy and check in instructions were provided before arrival. There was issues setting the door code prior to our arrival but that was communicated early to us. Upon arrival the door was unlocked but after staying at the property, my assumption is it wasnt pulled all the way shut before it was locked because you do need to make sure the door is pulled closed before locking it. The property matched the photos. I was hoping the couch would have pulled out to be the 2nd bed for lounging since it wasnt super comfortable but it didnt. There is an air bed in the closet but we didnt use that. The bedding was dirty on the bed. I messaged the owner and there was some lag on hearing back from them. They stated there was more bedding in the closet, which there was, however there wasnt a clean comforter. By the time we heard back from the owner who did offer to have clean bedding dropped off that night, we had already gone out and bought blankets so we would have covers for the night. The owner did give us credit on the final day after I messaged twice asking about it (the 1st message didnt get a response so I followed up with a 2nd).The rest the stay was fine and it was nice to have streaming services available on the tv. There is also an adorable coffee shop 2 doors down! We didnt have an issue finding street parking at all. Check out instructions were provided and easy to follow.

I stayed with my son who had a basketball tournament around the corner at the Wintrust Sports Complex. The building was nice and furnished well. It was also very homey and comfortable. It was nice having friendly people around the corner and we also enjoyed some mornings with coffee at the Pink Owl Cafe. Overall, everything about this trip was great. We felt safe, comfortable, and at home when we stayed and I look forward to using this property again next year.
