Friendly staff. I liked it had a pool. The city of Chiavenna is charming with some walking trials through small parks. Another reason I liked it is because it is close to the Engadin and we went there for hikes as well

Hotel Aurora

Needed a good place to stay in Chiavenna. Easy to find, plenty of free parking (a definite plus). Street traffic somewhat noisy. Excellent breakfast. There is a sports theme (primarily football) to the hotel so like us, you may have a team of some sort staying there as well. All the student players were very well behaved and did not affect our stay.

rustikales Hotel, sehr geeignet für Motorradfahrer

Wir waren mit zwei Motorrädern unterwegs. Hotel sieht von aussen viel kleiner aus, als es in Wirklichkeit ist. Die Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber. Das Frühstück war vom Angebot her überschaubar, aber absolut ausreichend. Gegenüber vom Hotel, auf der anderen Straßenseite, befindet sich eine sehr gute Pizzeria, die zum Hotel gehört. Vor dem Hotel befindet sich ein großer Parkplatz und auch hinter dem Hotel im Hof sind sehr viele Parkplätze und auch einige Unterstellmöglichkeiten für Motorräder. Der Chef ist selbst leidenschaftlicher Motorradfahrer, war freundlich und gab uns sehr gute Routentips. Ich kann das Hotel nur wärmstens Motorradfahrern (auch großen Gruppen) empfehlen. Es gibt genügend Zimmer, überdachte Unterstellmöglichkeiten im Hof und abends nach einer anstrengenden Tour braucht man nicht wieder los um was essen zu gehen, man geht einfach in die Pizzeria auf der anderen Straßenseite.

Praktisch und erholsam

Sehr aufmerksames Personal, immer freundlich und nett. Gute Lage des Hotels. Naher Einstieg zu schönen Wanderwegen mit den Gletschermühlen. (Fenomena glacial) Schöner Fussweg in die Altstadt Chiavenna. Kostenfreier Zutritt zum Pool mit schöner Liegewiese.

schlechtes Hotel. Niemals 3 Sterne!

Es hat schon mit der Fahrt dorthin begonnen. Das Navi hat diese Straße die laut Expedia angegeben wurde an einer anderen stelle gefunden. Das Hotel befindet sich dann 1km weiter. Parkplätze sind gut und ausreichend vorhanden. Die Lage vom Hotel war eigentlich ganz gut da man über einen schönen Spaziergang am Fluss in die Stadt konnte. Kommen wir zu den schlechten Sachen: Das Hotelzimmer war zu dunkel. Die Wände waren nicht wirklich sauber. Es hat auch nicht besonders gut gerochen. Das WLAN hat nur unten beim Empfang funktioniert. Es gab nur italienische Fernsehrkanäle. Die Betdecke bestand aus einer Wolldecke und einem lacken darunter. Wahrscheinlich wird die Wolldecke nicht gewaschen, sondern nur immer das Lacken. Das fanden wir etwas eckelhaft, da man durchaus mit der Wolldecke in Berührung kommen kann während dem Schlaf. Dann kam auch noch das Highlight. Zwischen 20 uhr ( oder früher weil wir vorher nicht da waren) und 21 Uhr kam ein sehr lautes brummendes geräusch durch die Wände. Es war wirklich nervtötend. Nachdem wir bei der Reception angerufen haben, haben die uns gesagt das es die Küche sei und das sie es in 10 min abgestellt wird. Nach 20 min wurde es dann wirklich abgestellt. Sonst hätte ja wohl keiner schlafen können. Dennoch habe ich sowas noch nie erlebt. Und wir waren schon in vielen billigen Hotels unterwegs. Für eine Nacht kann man es vielleicht aushalten wenn man nicht zulange sich in dem Hotel aufhält. Aber es ist nie und nimmer 3 Sterne Wert....

La struttura è elegante ben tenuta e sulla via nazionale con possibilità di parcheggio gratuito . Fuori dalla zona centrale del paese si circa 2km (ampiamente segnalato nelle condizioni su app). Personale cortese disponibile e possibilità di cenare in.hotel . Camere pulite ( lo stile Non è modernissimo ma anche questo ampiamente indicato in app) e comunque personalmente lo trovo caratteristico e adatto alle esigenze di chi può soggiornare a due passi da tutto e con la comodità di essere già sulla strada . La zoma è silenziosa calma e stupenda . Ci tornerò senz'altro

Très bon établissement, à recommander.

Hotel moderne et confortable quoiqu'un peu impersonnel. Chambre sans balcon avec fenêtre donnant sur le parking arrière très pratique et sécurisant pour les motards comme moi. Personnel très accueillant, certains parlant le français et très bon restaurant. Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de profiter des infrastructures situées de l'autre côté de la route (piscine, jardin, grill et pizzeria) mais si dans la même gamme que le reste, doivent valoir le détour.

Preiswerte Übernachtung ausserhalb von Chiavenna

Das Hotel bietet eine preiswerte Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, die Zimmer sind sauber, die Betten etwas einfach, das Frühstück mit einem ordentlichen Angebot. Die Angestellten sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird in Google Maps falsch angezeigt. Es ist um einen Kilometer weiter von Zentrum von Chiavenna entfernt. Da wir mit ÖV unterwegs waren, verlängerte sich der Fussweg. Das Hotel teilte uns mit, dass auf der anderen Flussseite ein schöner Weg ins Zentrum führt, abseits vom Verkehr: Wirklich schön und sehenswerte. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt würde ich ohne Auto wieder gehen. Preis/Leistung absolut OK.
