Property had beautiful views from the inside with the big windows facing Lake Michigan as well as from the wrap around porch. It was very clean and updated. The fact that it was 50 steps from the Lake and right down the beach from dune hikes at Indiana Dunes State Park made it the best of both worlds. It is just a short drive from Indiana Dunes National Park Visitor Center and hikes at the National Park. The host was very accessible and did his best to make us comfortable (brought us water, generator, etc) when we had a power outage due to a rare tornado that hit in the area and caused extensive damage nearby.Would definitely stay at this property again

the place was exactly as pictured. views were amazing. there is a full wrap around deck with extra seating in the back and some grills. lots of seating inside, including comfy chairs. Saw some ships. so nice to be able to access the beach frequently without having to drive or walk far. there's a lot to explore in Chesterton. also did a quick trip to Valpo and MI City. Nice little details inside cabin like the night lights with motion sensor, soap, coffee. It made everything feel safe & comfortable.
