Nice but wouldn’t stay again

I called the hotel to say we were celebrating a 40th birthday. They said some welcome drinks and free upgraded will be complimentary and thank you for choosing the hotel when we arrived. We didn’t even have the room I originally booked and no drinks and no complimentary gift. Room was very tired. Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast and staff was amazing.
