Tucked away on a private road, our charming two-bedroom cottage is your ticket to a tranquil northern MI adventure. Thankfully, we were not impacted by the April 2026 floods.

This is our family cottage, and we're excited to make it available to guests coming up to the Black Mountain recreation area!

Extremely private - no other homes can be seen from the property. The cottage is close to the lake, but not lakefront.

960 square feet with kitchen, full bath, and laundry. Large covered front porch and rear back patio. Large fire pit area. Lots of hammock-ready trees.

2 bedrooms. 1 king bedroom. Second room has a bunk bed with a twin upper, full lower, and twin trundle. The cottage can comfortably fit 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3-4 kids, between the two bedrooms. There is also a queen air mattress that can be used in the living room.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.
