Overall the property and location were just what we were looking for. We very much enjoyed our stay AFTER a frustrating start. I'll explain:
On the first night, our VEHICLE GOT TOWED from the parking garage and IT COST US $350 to recover it. While there was a fleeting chance for us to preclude this, the process was not communicated clearly. Details:
-Vehicle fully registered prior to arrival in manager’s online system
-Did not receive check-in instructions until well after arrival
-Instructions stated that the manager would hand us a parking pass (he did not)
-Manager sent VRBO-app message well after check-in with parking permit number to post on dash (message not received until too late).
After towing, the manager was polite & eager to help, but did not offset fine and did not follow up after our stay, despite saying he would.
Furthermore, manager claimed that he gave us verbal instructions regarding the pass, but neither I nor my wife recall hearing details about parking. It would have been simpler if he handed us the pass (or permit number), especially since he met us at the car.
Other issues:
Property was listed as being on the 17th floor; it was on the 3rd floor.
Ice maker and water dispenser were broken.
There was only half a roll of toilet paper in the house when we arrived, and the wall mount was broken.
The wine bottle opener was broken.
The oven smoked excessively when we cooked a frozen pizza.
Otherwise the experience was great!
