"The breakfast is ok . The girls didnt do much . I have visited this hotel mamy times and the food service needs improving at breakfast and around the pool. You would sell allot more drinks and snacks if staff were around and offered service . The rooms are beautiful and clean. We do get a suite to make our vacation special. Although one morning were were awakiken by a power outage and generator coming in it was so loud next to our rm 10 it scared us. Overall we realy like this hotel the manager and desk staff are very helpfull and welcoming. "

"We had to pick up some equipment at the Marina in Golfito so we decided to try Amaka. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations..with the highlight being the spectacular view of the marina surrounded be emerald green rainforest covered mountains. We come to Golfito often but don’t normally spend the night..but we’re really happy we gave Amaka a try. THE STAFF is excellent, they upgraded our room to get us checked in earlier..clean, spacious, and very cool “marine life” large canvas artwork..strong AC (important in Golfito) and just a really cool overall island vibe decor. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you to Uriel for going out of his way to check on us occasionally to make sure we have everything we need! The young lady who checked us in was great and made some last minute room maneuvers to get us checked in early! Travel Tips: Get one of the two rooms with full Marina/ocean view if possible although all are nice. Opt for the included breakfast..you can pick from any main course on the menu - highly recommend the croissant/ egg/ mushroom/cheese/spinach option- so good! Enjoy! Hasta pronto! "

"We stayed in the ocean view room with private balcony, and it was beautiful. All very clean. Very nice staff. the restaurant was ok but not great, although the manager was kind. The hotel is on a very busy and fast main road and parking is limited and no nearby options. We did really enjoy our stay."
