The Domaine du Ris de Feu is conducive to calm, walks in the forest, nature and well-being stays. The type of layout and renovation is not suitable for babies, small and large children.

The charming cottage "L'Abloux" is a haven of peace and comfort, in the heart of Berry and in the regional natural park of Brenne, near Châteauroux.

This beautiful and vast gîte, warm in winter, cool in summer, is ideal for spending a romantic weekend or a stay for well-being, nature and hiking, in the heart of a beautiful private forest of 160ha.

After a relaxing spa in the Wellness area or a restorative siesta, guests can concoct slow food cuisine based on vegetables and meat from the market. Coming back from Nohant and Gargilesse, the cheese soup, the poached eggs à la Norbert, the Galifouty du Berry and the half-brioche, half-savarin cake hold no secrets for my epicurean hosts. George Sand watches over your table if you invite her.

The cottage has been carefully restored where comfort and aesthetics are one and the same thanks to the old furniture and books, family memories or found in Berry at the Marins flea market.

The place is cozy and invites you to rest your soul. Quietly installed in the armchairs with a glass in hand, a cup or a book, I recommend the paths of the Brenne for successful nature and heritage holidays, rich in discoveries and surprises.

3 hours from Paris, 20 minutes from the A20, in Indre, the DOMAINE du RIS DE FEU with a pond, a river, a stream, springs is a RARE place nestled in the heart of the Parc de la Brenne, ideal for a romantic weekend or a nature and romantic week.

Its historic 15th century mansion, its tower and its outbuildings with SPA and SAUNA is nestled in the heart of a hilly forest and unspoilt nature with its private paths, deer slab, flora and wildlife.

The L'Abloux gîte (91 m2) is a cocoon for lovers where a fire awaits you in winter and coolness in summer. On the ground floor, a living/dining room with stove and fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, a large bedroom (bed 180 x200) with a desk area, and its bathroom (large shower + bath + washbasin) and WC separated from the bathroom.

At 900m, a restaurant was spotted by a food critic.

The organic renovation, with wood-fired central heating, is respectful of heritage. Oak, chestnut, floor tiles and antique furniture create a sober and warm atmosphere.

In complete privacy, your steps will take you along the 20 km of hiking trails crossing the Ris stream, its pond and its boat with pontoon, its pond, its orchard-vegetable garden, its springs, its Gallo-Roman bridge. The Estate adjoins one of the 5 exceptional botanical trails of the Parc de la Brenne, a paradise for birds and ornithologists.

Located in Chalais (36370), near Le Blanc, in the heart of the triangle going from Poitiers, to Châteauroux and Limoges, the Ris de Feu is strategic for visiting the Brenne and its 1000 ponds, the Chérine reserve and its nature center , the beautiful villages of Angles-sur-Anglin or Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, the abbey of Saint-Savin (UNESCO) the abbey church of Neuvy-Saint-Sépulcre (UNESCO), as well as the house of Georges Sand in Nohant-le-Vic.
