We had everything that we could ask for and more for our family of 6 adults. Three bathrooms came in handy when getting ready for a wedding. The kitchen and family rooms are spacious and well equipped. The extra touches, provided by the host, helped to make our short stay very convenient and enjoyable. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the wonderful outdoor amenities due to the wedding events. The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of rooms for all our sleeping needs. I would highly recommend this rental if you are in the area.

Lovely property

Everything was as-described. We didn't spend much time in the home, as most of our time was spent at a family reunion, but I really enjoyed having morning coffee in the back yard. We even had a "flock" of wild turkeys walk by one morning.

We are a tall family so we had to watch our heads in a few spots but otherwise the property was beautiful, clean, well-stocked and soooo relaxing! We really enjoyed the fire pit and the game room!

Great stay in New Hampshire!

Visited with my extended family. The house looks small on the outside, but is actually quite roomy and comfortably fit us all with even extra beds available. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. The outdoor space is so lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our brief stay. The property was clean, warm and comfortable. Our checkin process was slightly flawed, but was more likely an innocent mistake rather than a systemic problem. The owner contacted me directly to address the problem quickly. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again.

Family leaf peeping trip

We stayed at the Windsock Retreat for 3 days of our family leaf peeping trip. The house was beautifully decorated and the hosts were thoughtful in the included amenities, from Dunkin coffee, body wash in each shower, air freshener in each bathroom, lotion and a well stocked kitchen. The house was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed an evening fire in the fire pit and making s'mores. There are several nearby restaurants. Hobbs Tavern, White Lake Pizza, and Bobby Sue's (for ice cream) are worth visiting. Highly recommend!

We stayed here as family to attend a wedding at white face hollow in Tamworth, it's a 20 min drive to venue, the home was perfect for 6 adults to get ready for wedding with having the 3 bathrooms , the home is very cute and well stocked the beautiful backyard was great to relax and have coffee or you can make a fire in fire pit, very clean and great location.we all recommend this property to stay.have our morning coffee . Kirkland Cottage getaway

The house was very comfortable & spotless. Great kitchen with the usual appliances (no toaster oven though - which we prefer to a toaster)Comfy sofas, good mattresses & pillows, lots of towels & lots of hangers in the closets. Nice tv with WiFi. Close to everything. A terrific welcome looseleaf with recommendations for dining, hiking boat rentals shopping etc. Would return.Front door lock needs fixing

Beautiful hideaway home in NH

This lovely, clean home for our crew perfectly! Long-time White Lake campers, we decided to get a house this year instead. We loved the comfortable beds and flexibility of space. The kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need to cook. The backyard had a great fire pit with lots of seating. There’s a long driveway that our kids loved using to ride bikes. There is AC in all the upstairs rooms, but not the basement room. It made an excellent home base for all NH activities! We would definitely come back!

Annual NH Trip

My boys (6&4) and I stayed at this property for a week. The rental was PERFECT for us. The home was spotless and a great layout with plenty of beds for guests. We most enjoyed the backyard and driveway where the kids had plenty of room to play and ride bikes. The firepit and expansive deck and table was a big hit for visiting relatives who were camping nearby and came over for dinner one night. The location is great - close to everything we needed! Highly recommend!

Quiet spot, great views.

Don't let the exterior fool you! This home is far more spacious than it would seem. It is extremely well kept, and everything was in working order. The basement was great for a later in the evening hangout area. The video game systems were a really nice touch! The immediate area around the house was very picturesque and we hung out by the fire each night we were there. We did think it would be a tad closer to Ossipee Lake, however, as it turns out we found that White Lake was actually a better spot for out of staters like us to go visit and swim/kayak. We have no trouble highly recommending this place as a rental. The owners were extremely easy to contact through VRBO. They were very responsive and helpful.

Great Rental Property

This was a great property it had all the comforts of home super clean, beds and linens so comfortable everything was fantastic. From the outside the house appears to be small but once get inside the rooms go on and on !! The area was very quiet and we appreciated that ! It was a little tuff with the directions as you are in the mountains and service sometimes can be spotty. We got the name of the community the house was in and it brought us right to the property no problem. We had a great stay and highly recommend !!
