This property needs a lot of love. the shower curtain was moldy. The taps for the shower didn't work properly. the lighting in the living room was very poor, the furniture in the living room were so gross we didn't even sit on the couch or chair. the 3 beds that were available 2 were in very poor shape lumpy, springs poking through.
AC & Wifi was the only good this.

It is a very rundown place. The pictures that are on Expedia have been definitely "filtered" using Instagram and the reality looked much worse when we checked in. The fence has rusty barbed wire, while inside the house you could hardly breathe because of a very thick and stuffy air, as there's no AC in the main living room and the windows have solid glass blinds that make make the house very dark. You can't let the light in unless you open the windows that if done, will allow hot air inside the house. Scratched floors, dents on the walls and ceilings, very dirty couches in the living room - overall the place gave a very negative and dirty wibe and the feeling that you are a victim of false advertisement. In short, we couldn't stay at the place as a family and had to demand a refund from Vicasa, and then overpay for the last-minute booking to stay somewhere else.

Ok house, condition not great
The house is spacious and the location is ok, though off of the main strip. A couple appliances did not work and the air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms. The staff in Belize City was mostly unresponsive and rude when they finally did respond. The staff in Caye Caulker was very helpful even though she was not able to fix any of the broken elements.
