The location is convenient and close to the main tourist attractions. Communication through Expedia was difficult, but once I connected with the property via WhatsApp, they were very responsive and helpful. We completed the online check-in as requested, but I still had to reach out to the host to figure out how to actually access the property. Even during our stay, no information about check-out was provided, which made things unclear. The rooms are fine for a short stay, but they don’t look like the photos online. The property seems to still be under renovation, with some things broken and not well maintained. When we arrived, only two towels were provided, but the staff quickly sent more after I asked. Overall, the property is okay for the price and works for a quick overnight stay, but the pictures are misleading, and the lack of clear check-in/check-out information makes the experience more stressful than it should be.

Beware

The name on thr building is not La Torre but something else. We received no information about how to access the room and there was no one there when we arrived. The doors were locked and no sign to indicate it was the right place. We had to google the name on the apartment door and call the number listed online for a different service, and eventually someone came. The room was still dirty from previous gueats but they cleaned it. In the end you get what you pay for but people should be aware this isnt a hotel as advertised. I reccomend calling or emailing before arrival as they will not send you any details voluntarily.

It’s an Airbnb. Not a hotel. Waited in the street for 2.5 hours. A neighbour let me into the courtyard, told me the Airbnbs are on the first floor. I was stuck in the courtyard for 10-15 minutes at one point as none of the keys worked. Shook the door until someone came down to let me out. Host didn’t tell me where the room was until Expedia already relocated me to another property as it was after 1am. What a waste of 4+ hours of my life.

Das Zimmer muss fertig gestellt werden eine Waschmaschine steht vor einem nicht ganz fertigem Durchbruch das Licht vom gegenüberliegenden Zimmer scheint rein ein alter kuhlschrank musste auch noch entsorgt werden das Badezimmer benötigt auch eine Komplettsanierung Klo undicht usw Ivan ist ganz OK 👍 aber er musste einfach Mal Ran an die Arbeit

Struttura in pieno centro.. Senza ascensore. Letto molto comodo. Il bagno assolutamente è un NO. Puzza di fogna dallo scarico e doccia che ha allagato tutto il pavimento. Nel complesso la stanza ha potenziale ma sembra che ancora debba essere finita. Bagno da rifare.

I had a wonderful stay in Catania! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything I needed and ideal for exploring the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catania.
