Quite a shock
When first booking I contacted Flavio to inquire if the description on Vrbo was accurated. He replied saying the apartment was exactly as advertise.
When we arrived we found that in fact Flavio rents out rooms on an individual basis with a kettle, coffee maching and fridge in each bedroom.
In the kitchen there were no cups, saucers, plates, glasses, wine glasses no microwave those specifically advertised, no blender etc.
There was no dining table for a family but two little tables.
The gas hob was faulty with one of the jets staying stuck and dangerously on though impossible to light.
Only plastic bowls and plastic plates were provided. I pointed all this out to Giuseppe who said he represented Flavio. Then I was asked to send them a list of what else was advertised on the Vrbo website and they would try to buy it. Eventually 3 bowls, 3 plates and 6 tumblers arrived and a microwave.
In bedroom 2 - the so called 'Spring' room there was a heavy smell of cigarette smoke.
The location is a nightmare at the meeting of 3 streets where cars and mopeds have to stop then rev up and continue. PLEASE WARN FAMILIES - this apartment is NOT SUITABLE for family stays and Flavio and Giuseppe (if they are separate people) have no experience of providing for families.
