Not quite what we’d hoped.

Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living room the settee is ok but not the most comfortable. Also no welcome pack unless you count a few sachets of coffee, tea and milk, which I don’t. Considering the cost of renting this place a little remiss. Whilst we enjoyed Castletown we won’t return the Halvaard Appt.

En el mismo Castletown no hay mucho que hacer, pero este apartamento estuvo muy bueno. Llegamos y nos recibió una persona que atentamente nos dio las indicaciones del sitio. El apartamento estaba recién remodelado y con detalles muy modenos. Fácil acceso y justo frente al castillo. La climatización perfecta. La lavadora ni se escucho y función muy bien. Internet muy rápido. Está a 8 kilómetros fe Douglas y tienes que tomar el camión para llegar a la ciudad. También estás a 4 minutos del aeropuerto. Me encantó su tranquilidad y silencioso.
