Very nice beach condo

Excellent location close to everything. The beach is wonderful, clean and has fine sand. Giovanni met us at the place even though we were a little early. We also had to check out a day early because of a transport strike and he accommodated us with this as well. All in all a very good experience.

Wonderful

We have just had the most amazing week at Giovanni’s property in Selinunte. The sound of the sea and the proximity of the beach was so fantastic. There was no need to go anywhere else. Giovanni treated us to typical Sicilian cakes on our way to the property which was so kind of him and very delicious! It really was a truly amazing place and a truly relaxing experience. The ruins which you can see from the balcony are spectacular and the food (especially the fish at the Boomerang) also not to be missed. Thank you Giovanni.

If you want a quote beach holiday where you can eat amazing sea food every night this is the place.

The balcony over hangs the beach, the waters about 80cm deep for 20 meters out, perfect for swimming. The balcony is big enough that four people can sit in sun or shade all day long. The apartment has everything you need and was very clean and tidy.

Lovely veranda and well-cared for apartment.

This is a very well cared for apartment right on the edge of the beach towards the end of the village. The balcony/veranda is excellent for sitting out and watching the waves and admiring the ruins at the end of the archaeological park of Selinunte. It was sunny for most of our stay with a strong cold breeze, but the blinds on the balcony afforded some shelter so we could still sit out even in early March. As we stayed here in early March there were a lot of properties around that had closed for the winter and not yet re-opened for the season. This meant that it was very quiet and quite a secluded spot, but this may not be the case in summer. Giovanni the owner was very helpful, meeting us graciously when we arrived 4 hours later than expected due to flight delays. He appeared the following day with a plate of Sicilian speciality pastries for us to try. The living room is a reasonable size with the kitchen tucked into one corner. This iwas equipped with a kettle & microwave which we used and a hob/oven and pots for cooking (which we didn't). The 2 bedrooms are a decent size and furnished with all the basics. The bathrooms, of which there are 3, are compact and nicely finished, each with a toilet, basin, bidet and a fully tiled, spotlessly clean shower. One is very narrow and could be a bit of a squeeze for anyone with a large build. There were just 2 of us staying in the apartment which gave us loads of space. It is equipped for 6 but this could be quite tricky (unless 2 were smallish children).

Diese Wohnung übertraf alle Erwartungen

es gibt nur einen Ausdruck - wunderbar. Die FeWo war nicht nur blitzblank, sondern auch sehr großzügig im Platzangebot. Der Vermieter super freundlich, Übergabe und Rückgabe ohne Probleme und die Lage traumhaft. Alles das, was wir uns erhofft hatten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Casa Vacanza

Tipica casa vacanza a Marinella di Selinunte (TP). La casa si presenta pulita e nella disposizione degli spazi razionale. Entrambe le camere da letto presentano un comodo bagno in camera. Un ulteriore bagno è al servizio della zona giorno. Cucina ridotta ai minimi termini per quanto riguarda gli spazi ma ben attrezzata con tutto quello che server per cucinare. Il punto di forza è sicuramente il balcone/terrazzino che affaccia direttamente SUL mare. Da casa scendendo 5 gradini si arriva in spiaggia (libera) che dovrebbe essere tenuta meglio. Mare Ottimo. Caratteristico l'asta del pesce che si tiene a Marinella (300 mt di distanza) dove si può acquistare il pescato del giorno. Unico neo: si sente la mancanza di un barbecue!

traumhaft schöne Lage!

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist unschlagbar. Die Nähe zu den Ausgrabungsstätten ist sehr angenehm, die vielen guten Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung praktisch. Leider befindet sich direkt neben dem Appartementhaus eine Treppe zum Strand, auf der sich am Sa-Abend viele Jugendliche treffen: entsprechend laut war es bis morgens um 4.00 Uhr - man konnte erst danach schlafen. Daher ein Abzug bei der Bewertung.
