Very rural setting in old village. 15 minute drive to market or restaurant. Very nice home with views overlooking Douro River. We were able to engage with locals and helped with grape and olive harvests and even stomped the grapes! Many lovely surrounding towns and hikes but you must have a car!

Das Haus ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und muss dringend von Grund auf renoviert werden, vor allem die Badezimmer und die Küche. Bei den Möbeln hat man das Gefühl, dass sie vom Sperrmüll kommen, da gehört zumindest das meiste hin. Außerdem war es auch nicht sauber. Es ist wohl immer mal ausgebessert oder gestrichen worden, leider ohne z.B. abzukleben (Farbreste auf Fliesen, Türen, Armaturen, Deckenlampen). Die Badezimmertür des and das Schlafzimmer angeschlossenen Bades kann man nicht schließen. Es wirkt alles sehr unprofessionell und lieblos. Auch der Pool ist ein DIY-Projekt.Das ist so schade, da der Ausblick grandios ist. Warum kein bodentiefes Küchenfester und eine Ganzglasseitentür, weniger und zusammen passende Möbel?
