The River was lovely to listen too
Overall inside was clean. I personally would just remove the carpet. Outside needed to be weeded and house washed. But we did enjoy our stay and it was listed as a cabin. Train did make numerous appearances,.

Great place to entertain!
Perfect location for all of the trails and parks nearby. Loved the river and seasonal blackberries. It was a perfect setting to entertain family that live nearby. All of the kids loved the pool table, deck, property, and exploring.

Great location
We love this area, train was a little loud especially at night but it didn’t bother us as much. They had ear plugs if you needed. The only thing was it was inconvenient to go in the river too many rocks and bushes, but we still put our chairs there and relaxed in the water. We enjoyed our stay everything was great .

Cabin in the woods
The property was nice and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our group. It was nice that the way the house faces, the back deck overlooking the river was shaded in the afternoon.
The only issue was there was no easy way to access the river at the property. We had to do some climbing and then once in the river, had to just stand there. The fishing wasn't good at the property.

Would book again
Overall the place was fine for our stay.
A few issues came up that I notified the owner about, not worthy of listing them all here except that the A/C is actually a swamp cooler and it wasn't available for use in June, so that was a little disappointing, and the train every 3 or 4 hours was 40 feet away from the bedrooms, and the crossings, so the horn blows right outside your room at all hours of the night. But there were earplugs there we were able to utilize. The second night with the ear plugs was much better. The river was very loud this year, so you try sleeping in the living room to avoid the train. Worth the price!

Nothing fancy but efficient.
We rented this property for 2 nights, for a quick New year’s ski trip. It suited our needs...the billiard table was an added bonus. Only big issue was the trains. Suggest using ear plugs at night! Otherwise a good place to stay!
