Staff very helpful. Due to plane delays arriving after last check in. Spoke with the staff and arranged for we to get keys after hours. Breakfast was excellent with amazing view over the seafront.

A very pleasant and convenient place to stay

This is the third time I have stayed in the Cobo Bay Hotel. We had a twin room on the top floor. It was very quiet, apart from people leaving the pub next door on a Friday and Saturday night, over a 20 minute period. The room was very warm and cosy, it was easy to control the temperature. Everything was clean and tidy. Nice view from the window. The bathroom is a good size, nice bath and shower. Tea and coffee available in the room, with biscuits, a good size TV. Plenty of wardrobe space and a safe, if needed. Reception staff very polite and helpful , as are the staff serving breakfast. Breakfast is more than adequate, a good choice of food, in a large, pleasant room overlooking the beach/sea. There is a good bar area, and another room for entertainment , e..g a comedy show. The Cobo hotel is in a great location, the extensive sandy beach is just across the road. Also a reasonable price.
