This is the one! Cute, cozy, & clean year-round house with 60’ private subdivision residents'-only beach. Beach has a huge deck with built-in benches and a high-top island. Deck is great for morning coffee, happy hour, sunset & star gazing, or watching the kids swim.

Our private, small subdivision has an Extraordinary sandy beach (not visible from cottage due to small hill) which is less than a 2 min walk to access across the road. We also have a wagon for you to easily transport your beach gear.

We sleep six. There are two bedrooms; one located on the main floor & one on the upper floor (loft type, no door, but visually private) - there is also a queen sofa bed in the living room.

Everything needed for a great stay is provided. Fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher.

When not enjoying the beach, or visiting nearby Caseville & Port Austin, there’s plenty to do at the cottage—relax on the back deck, grill your meals using our propane BBQ grill; play a game of cornhole, enjoy a campfire at the fire pit in the backyard.

We also can provide a highchair; pack n play crib, stroller & baby gate, at no charge; just let us know in advance what you need.

For your indoor entertainment, we have a large collection of DVD's, Books, puzzles, board games, playing cards, toys, Xfinity streaming HD TV & WI-Fi. You will need your own password for premium apps such as Netflix, etc.

We welcome your pet, depending on the breed & other factors; send us an INQUIRY stating breed & age PRIOR to booking. No pit bulls allowed. (pet fee of $100/stay applies). Once approved, select “bringing pets” when you book.

We provide you with information at the cottage on all our favorite spots.
We are hands-on proprietors. We don’t use a property mgr., nor manage from afar, & it shows. We take pride in providing you the best vacation venue for making memories.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

The best weekend getaway spot!

Caseville

Great location, clean, convenient between caseville and port Austin. Cabin was well stocked & had everything we needed, even some extras (marshmallow sticks) & our son enjoyed the toy trains. Quick walk to the beach. Great place for a family with kids. Only negative was we found the main bedroom mattress to be too firm for us, but that’s a pretty minor thing. We would recommend this cabin.

Quaint little cottage near the lake. Worked perfectly for out family with small children to be able to come and go from the beach as needed. The kids enjoyed the beautiful beach and it was within short walking distance from cottage. Fully equipped with baby necessities if requested.

Turnip Rock Kayak Trip

My sister and cousin and our kids had a fantastic time on our visit. The cottage was neat and clean, and had all the basic necessities. The host was quick to respond to any questions that we had, and everything was as the listing described. It was a perfect location in terms of a quick walk to the private beach, and being almost exactly between Caseville and Port Austin for things to do and great local restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking trip to Turnip Rock, and it was great to come back to the house each evening to roast s’mores and relax.

Cozy cottage

I booked this cottage so my husband and I could take my parents to Caseville for a quick weekend getaway. Our daughter and her 16 month old son joined us. The cottage is super cute and very clean. It is conveniently located right off the main road with easy access to the beach. Cheryl is a wonderful host!

This house was exactly how pictured and more! The place was very clean and organized. They had everything you could need for a weekend getaway. The biggest plus was the beautiful beach with private access. We were so happy that we could bring our dog and let her enjoy the beach as well. She loves the water! 10/10 would stay here again!

Great little getaway

Great little house for a family getaway. Myself, my husband, 3.5 yr old, a 5 month old and 2 smaller dogs. We stayed at the end of the summer season, and had the beach entirely to ourselves. It’s close enough you can easily and quickly walk back n forth with the baby. The 3 year old loved having The loft upstairs to herself. House has lots of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, etc for guests’ use. There was even a lead for a dog. Loved it!

Perfect for our family of four!

Very cute, little home right between Caseville and Port Austin…so it was easy to visit both. We went in the middle of the week in August, and we had the beach all to ourselves. It was really quite amazing. You don’t get that very often in Michigan in the summer! Our little pooch loved it, too. The walk to the beach is very short - maybe 100 yards. Our only issue was with the Wi-Fi. It went out several times while we were there. We just rebooted the modem each time, but it was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it was great. We would go again!

Relaxing Family getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very cute and clean. We loved that we could have our fur babies along. The area was the perfect halfway spot between Port Austin and Caseville. Also the beach was just a short walk and pretty much empty. We spent time in town, had many bonfires, a movie night and fun beach time! We plan to stay again.

Perfect Family Retreat: Accurate Description, Open Layout, and Beach Bliss

Accurate listing description, beautifully redone interior with an open and accommodating layout for a big family. Ample sleeping spaces available. Would definitely stay again. The proximity between lots was a bit tight to the neighbors, but everyone was friendly. Beach access was fantastic, with clear and clean sand and water.
