GREAT location within walking distance to the Cassimiccola Ferry, and right smack dab in the middle of both towns of Cassimiccola and Lacco Ameno which both have the most wonderful family owned restaurants. Wonderful view of the sea. Spotless room and pool area. However, there's no bar, you must bring your own. Breakfast was really good.

Great location but really lacked in service

The location of the hotel and facilities are really amazing. We were very disappointed about the check-in and service during our stay. As it was 2 friends traveling we specifically booked a room for 3 adults with 2 separate beds (which cost more money), they saw it was just 2 of us and put us in a standard double room and said they would pull the beds apart. Only after we refused did they move us. At check-in we were not told much about the property which ended up being both upsetting and inconvenient. It could have been easily communicated that keys need to be left with the front desk when leaving if we wanted our room cleaned/serviced ever. Also we returned home late on the first night (Friday) to find the gate to the property locked. We spent 30 mins locked outside while buzzing and calling the property 10 times until eventually an attendant let us in who had been sleeping. He was not very sympathetic even remarking "I have a hard time believing you waited that long". Again, had we known the keys being left were the only way they kept track of guests we would have been much less frustrated. The last night our stay we took a taxi as the main entrance is at the top of a very long hill only to find out FROM THE TAXI DRIVER that there is a waterfront entrance that will bring you to an elevator to bring guests up the cliff with a door code. After many trips up and down the mountain in the hot weather this was the most disappointing bit of information withheld from us.

Bra personal, pool och frukost.

Perfekt bemötande och trevlig personal. Fick checka in mycket tidigare än tänkt utan problem. Betalade 70 euro för en natt/dubbelrum och det var verkligen värt det. Fin utomhuspool, fin utsikt, poolhus där frukosten serveras. Frukosten hade allt jag men inte för mycket; kaffe, fruktsallad, gott bröd, ost, skinka, goda juicer, bakverk, kaffe etc. För att nå strandpromenaden finns hiss. Vacker promenad till byarna.

Quiete e Confort

Sito in Casamicciola Terme, a 6/7 minuti a piedi dal porto e dalla piazza principale, l'Hotel offre un soggiorno gradevole, sia per l'atmosfera riposante, sia per la gentilezza dello staff. Le camere sono pulite e comode. Piacevolissima la prima colazione attorno alla piscina, immersi nel panorama marino. Fermata dell'autobus di linea accanto l'Hotel.

Grazioso albergo sul lungo mare a casamicciola

Una vacanza di 3 notti davvero stupenda, trascorsa con il mio fidanzato per festeggiare il suo 40-esimo compleanno. Sceglierei Ischia ed anche l'albergo L'Approdo anche le prossime volte se ritorneremo in questo posto meraviglioso e ovviamente lo consiglio senza esitare. Grazie anche della bellissima sorpresa trovata in camera con gli auguri per il compleanno del mio fidanzato.

pessimo per scortesia, lontanissimo da un normale

Personale scortese o al massimo freddo e scostante. Livello di comfort della camera pari al massimo ad un discreto 3 stelle, certo non un 4 stelle quale si dichiara. Alle ore 13.30 (arrivo in hotel) la camera non era pronta (il personale se ne è accorto solo quando ci ha accompagnati in camera). Quindi siamo stati inviatati (senza alcuna cortesia) ad andare da qualche parte e ritornare dopo "una mezzora".... Al momento di lasciare la camera, visto che la colazione è prevista fino alle ore 10.30, avevamo ritenuto di lasciare la camera dopo colazione. Ci è stato comunicato invece che si deve lasciare la camera entro le 10.00, ed, ad una mia rimostranza che, di fatto, questo significa fare colazione dopo aver lasciato la camera, mi è stato risposto "le regole sono queste" Il telecomando in camera è disponibile solo su richiesta e previo pagamento di 10 euro (che poi vengono restituite). Alla richiesta della motivazione mi hanno risposto "qui in genere accade che ci rubano i telecomandi"...tendo conto che io pagavo con Carta di credito (di cui l'hotel aveva il numero) questa paura era immotivata...ed inoltre, il modo di comunicarlo è stato scortese. E si tratta di un 4 stelle???? Aggiunte di costi rispetto a quanto dichiarato allo snack bar della piscina (a fronte di 2 insalate da 7 euro, una birra piccola - 5 euro, ed un'acqua minerale, ho trovato un conto di 29 euro), motivati come "servizio camera" di fatto non usufruito, in quanto lo snack è stato consumato a bordo piscina.

Un bell'hotel, personale gentilissimo, che si mette a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa. Colazione buona ed abbondante con vista mare. Vicinissimo al porto e alla fermata dell'autobus. Ascensore interno per salire in hotel, senza bisogno di navette o taxi.

Great location; don't go for the service!

My husband loved Approdo simply for its location on a cliff over the sea, and our room maximized this advantage (as we had chosen a seaview). The air conditioning didn't work well, but we were happy to sleep with the balcony doors and bathroom window open. This was the solution we came up with only the second night, which changed our experience completely because it was very quiet as the is set back from the hustle and bustle of the waterfront just enough. We could hear the birds. For these reasons I would recommend this hotel. Not a 4-star at all--I would say closer to a 2-star! The rooms are extremely basic and ramshackle, breakfast was terrible in quality and presentation, and the staff hardly spoke any English. The spa areas of the hotel were worthless to us, as they were locked up and there was no one down there to help us! Very dingy as well, needs a revamp as the place is stuck in 1975.
