Nice condo with great location right on the beach. A short golf cart ride to the boardwalk as well as restaurants and shops. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The bedroom with the bunk beds and double bed was perfect for our 3 girls ages 6 through 10. Great communication with host and easy check in.

Overall good experience. Initially was not impressed as I was not given unit # and after 10 hr drive w 2 toddlers that was the last thing I thought I’d have to worry about. WiFi password also was not given until I inquired. No phone service on condo, def negative. Had to step out front door for calls and had a grumpy lady next to us that keep interrupting my calls telling me to go inside my condo and it was mid day. Not good. Lock was broken on sliding door so could not lock at night and wanted to w small kids w us. Location is awesome and would def stay here again now that I know how the lay out better now. Hosts were good about getting back to me on day one of vaca but felt I should not of had to reach out for info I should have got ahead of time. The board games that were in the condo were all mismatched parts and pieces. Luckily we had good weather so spent most time outside. Location is good, furnishing inside good too.

We had a fantastic week at Carolina Beach! The views are beautiful and it’s a great location to restaurants. Definitely more crowded than Wrightsville Beach, but it worked for our family. Furniture could be replaced both inside and on the outside deck, more towels,

Family adventure

Beautiful property and a great vacation. Had everything we needed for us and our three teenage boys. It was stocked with everything. The beds were comfortable, and you could not beat the view. The condo was about a quarter mile from the Tiki bar and about a mile from the boardwalk. Our only disappointment was the condition of the beach supplies. The boogie boards were all broken, and everything was shoved in a closet and not taken care of (I’m sure the hazard of renting out your condo). We ended up purchasing some and leaving them for the next people.

Beyond expectation!

My husband and I were celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary and Big Deck was the perfect place. It was beautiful, clean, and had everything you would need for a great beach getaway. From linens to beach chairs it was all provided. We will definitely be returning to Big Deck in the future!

A lovely place

The condo is really lovely, with a great location. Beds were very comfortable. The elevator and luggage cart made loading and unloading super easy.The beach is very nice, with easy access.It would be nice if there were some instruction sheets. We had trouble with the high tech (to us) thermostat, and couldn’t load TV formats or use Airplay.

My mom wanted to see the ocean for her 81 bday. We spent hours talking and laughing on the back deck or walking the beach. Great location.

Wonderful Spot Right on the Water

If you are looking for a great spot right on the water, with great views and location, look no further! When we first pulled in to the property, we were pleased to see that this unit had covered parking. This was great when it rained while also keeping your car about 30 degrees cooler than parking outside in the summer heat. The unit itself is super cute with lots of great touches throughout. Did I mention the view? Outstanding views from the living room and main bedroom! A large covered deck/porch was great to enjoy watching the sun rise while enjoying a cup of coffee, or for eating meals while enjoying the beach views and people watching. Location is excellent! We were able to walk to several restaurants so we didn’t have to fight for a parking spot. We also walked to the boardwalk one evening, and enjoyed a walk on the beach to come back home (walking to/from the boardwalk will also save you $40 for 2-hour parking in-season). Very fun!! Owners are very nice and happily respond to any questions you may have during your stay. I highly recommend booking this unit for your next trip to the beach!!

Great get away

Ridden hard and out away wet

Ok.. The good... Great location, great view. Fairly clean... Not too my standards but I'm picky. The bad... Place is run down... And owners tried to spruce up but basically put lipstick on a pig. The floors are all slanted and spongy. Sliding doors don't lock, woodwork and trim is all beat up, rusty medicine cabinet, doors are hideous and the place is overall very used. TV in guest bedroom doesn't connect to wifi, mattresses in guest bedroom are shot. Seems to be the trend but even though they collect a cleaning fee, you are still required to take out the trash, load dishwasher, unmake beds, etc. pictures make it appear new but don't be fooled.

The PERFECT getaway!

New Year's @ Carolina Beach

This condo is by far the BEST experience I have had in years. The location was perfect, and the pictures don't do the condo justice. It was spectacular. I have used VRBO countless times, and this rental had everything we needed. You don't have to bring anything with you unless you want a fancy coffee!!! I will definitely be renting this unit again. Also, the property manager was prompt in getting back to me about a quick question and even checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. Service was impeccable. Definitely recommend. It will not disappoint.

Perfect Oceanside spot!

We enjoyed our stay here, despite the cooler weather! Plenty of room, right on the beach! Spent time in downtown Wilmington and Carolina Beach. Was perfect for getting our family together before the holiday.
