You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Mid-Century Tahoe Vibes, Peeks of Lake Tahoe, Trails & National Forest out back

Close to everything North Lake Tahoe, but so far away you'll think you've traveled back in time.

At the top of the Ridgewood Highlands in Carnelian Bay, this quaint, architectural stunner built in 1965 combines simplicity and function with location and whimsy. A truly original Tahoe cabin, recently refreshed, this cabin will provide the backdrop for lifelong memories.

Located on a quiet street and backing to the Tahoe National Forest, this cabin is the mountain getaway your grandparents wanted for you. Just a few steps from the street and you'll find yourself on a deck, perched among the trees with panoramic forest views and peeks of the lake. Trails directly out the back door offer premier access to Nordic skiing, mountain biking, running, and hiking. A paved bike path through the forest starts two blocks away and connects the neighborhood with Tahoe City, the West Shore, and Olympic Valley. It is perfect for a gentle stroll or e-biking to beat the traffic.

Inside, a classic circular wood-burning fireplace is the centerpiece of a cozy living room with an open-beam wood ceiling. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide great natural light and exceptional forest views. The kitchen is centrally located and includes an electric range, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and a forest view. It shares a bath with the bunk room and the upstairs.

The Bunk Room has a full-size bunk bed, street view, and a classic Schwinn Airdyne exercise bike.

The Rompus Suite is downstairs. One queen bed and a small twin snuggle up with a forest view and direct access to the second full bathroom. Laundry is also on this level.

The cabin has high-speed satellite internet and a smart TV to connect all your devices and platforms. The small BBQ on the deck, picnic table, and extra-large umbrella make the deck a versatile additional space when the weather cooperates. Three plowed, off-street parking spots are included.

Pet-friendly - upon approval, additional fee applies
