Room clean and comfortable, staff great. We've been a few times when it was The Milton Hilltop. Not much has changed. It's not a posh hotel but for a night or two it's absolutely fine. Bit worn in places but rooms, bathrooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast food is freshly cooked and very nice. Not many staff but very efficient and friendly. Half the price of other local hotels but just as good. Nice walk, not too long, into the town centre. Get there early, big car park but it fills up, it's a popular place.

Convenient prices, friendly receptionists, the ptoperty looked tidy, poor breakfast (just toast and cereals), free parking, situate in a good distance from the city centre. The bar area presented with mice, the en-suite bathrooms urine smelling, rubbish rubber mats.

Room was good as usual warm and cosy, wifi intermittent, staff r really friendly, breakfast wasnt advised no cooked food just cereal which was rice crispies or cornflakes and toast was choice of drinks but orange juice had black bits in so didnt really drink much.

I found out through word of mouth that tgis was used formerly for asylum seekers, and it felt that way. Radiator in the room didnt work, i had to use the plug in one out of the wardrobe. Internet was practically non-existent. No spoons in the room, wooden stirring sticks. Bed was atrocious. The worst hotel ive stayed in. I've never been to prison, but id imagine its not much worse than this.

Staff are lovely but seriously you expect people to arrive to a room that actualy has no heating and even the window is left open 9pm when it’s 1 day short of November - but it’s ok you can “ask” for an electric heater 😬 anyone would think it was a third world country - the door knob to the bathroom comes off leaving and daughter was petrified she was going to get stock in there and the sockets don’t all work. The decor could also do with a clean up! Don’t like to moan - I stayed last year and it suited our needs - not looking for plush but surely heating is a basic requirement - don’t think we’ll be back. For clarity first told it was on a timer - it clearly wasn’t and when I explained this is the morning I was told no no we have electric heater if required so it was clearly know there was no heating.
