PLEASE NOTE • Animals are not permitted at this home due to Owner's severe allergies. • ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKERS, THIS IS A DRUG FREE, PET FREE PROPERTY. The use of tobacco, cannabis or vapor devices is strictly prohibited on the premises. • RECREATIONAL GEAR IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE HOME. THE SPACE This unique three level home features an open, spacious living area with vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows providing an abundance of natural sunlight. Greet the day with a cup of coffee on the expansive porch and wind down in the evening near the cozy pellet stove.
A fully-equipped chef’s kitchen with all new appliances and central island overlooking the living space is the perfect place to gather while whipping up a delicious family meal! The dining space with thoughtful farmhouse touches is wonderful for sharing a small meal or family feast.
The airy loft bedroom features a king bed with plush linens. Three additional bedrooms are located downstairs on the lower level including a sizable master suite with stately king bed, newly remodeled en suite bathroom, massive walk-in closet, and walk out patio. Two comfortable queen beds are found in the other private bedrooms along with a shared bathroom with new vanity and tiled shower.

This was a great place to stay for our extended family. We had six people spread over the four bedrooms and three bathrooms with plenty of common room to gather on the main floor. We were comfortable and never felt crowded. Located on the edge of Carbondale we still had easy access to downtown. Well equipped kitchen.

Good but Speaky with lots of rules reminders
Was a nice property, but the hollow doors are really really squeaky and disruptive when someone is up and others are trying to sleep. Was nice and clean and well supplied in the kitchen.
The owners will request you sign a "House Rules" legal document outside of the VRBO Terms and Conditions, which is unsettling. When presented with a legal form I would prefer to have it reviewed as I am not a lawyer and this has some clear legal language. I don't have the time or want the added expense for this. From other reviews they seem overly concerned about their property, which I respect, but wear and tear happens and they should consider different material options for a rental. There are lots of rules reminders posted inside and outside the house along with cameras outside. You are being watched.
The location was hard to find and identify the unit especially at night for the first time.

Worst Experience Accommodation
The landlord imposed strict rules prohibiting any ski/snowboard items and shoes from entering house, and we were warned in a highly offensive manner, with threats to involve the police. Because she believed our boards/shoes could ruin his precious floors. On the first night, we brought the entire board bag into house to unpack our protective padding, clothing, boots and helmets. We plan to move boards to the locker the following night after skiing. The following morning, we were bombarded with accusatory texts, claiming that we had violated the rules and threatening police intervention. Despite our explanations, our words fell on deaf ears. Another text arrived stating that shoes were not allowed inside, even though we just stepped into house and placed shoes in designated shoe trays. When we returned in the evening to store the boards in the locker, the landlord suddenly appeared with a large intimidating man, adamantly warning us not to bring the boards inside, refusing to listen to our explanation, and claiming continuous surveillance by the cameras.
There was a mouse hole in bedroom windows, we witnessed a mouse climbing into the cavity between the window panes in the middle of the night. There were several dead insects found in the bathroom and corners of the house.
None of the coverings fully blocked the windows, leaving approximately 1/5 of each window exposed. Considering the abundance of external cameras, I strongly suspect external camera could monitor inside.

Great stay in the Carbondale farmhouse!
We had a great experience at this cute farmhouse in Carbondale! The house was exactly like the photos and very spacious for our family. The outside does have some construction across from the house that’s not super appealing to the eye but didn’t bother us. The inside more than made up for it. They also provided a larger than normal starter kit of supplies which was appreciated. Laundry pods, big shampoos/conditioners in the bathroom, trash bags, coffee filters, spices, salt and pepper are all there, but if you are shopping ahead of time, do get extra paper towels. We also really enjoyed the location being so close to Carbondale, glenwood springs, sunlight mountain and Aspen. Great middle spot for us. We found Penny Hot Springs which was gorgeous - a very natural hot spring only about 15 minutes from the house. There was also a nice playground a few minutes drive from the house that our kids enjoyed. We also used the VRBO’s 10% discount to go to Glenwood Adventure Park which we’d recommend as a fun day experience for kids. There is also a city market (Kroger) grocery store just a few minutes away and we had our initial groceries delivered to us just to make things easier so that was convenient. The house also has a pack n play and a high chair - the high chair was a very nice surprise for us. There are a lot of stairs in the house so we had to try and baby proof the house as best we could but I knew that going into it and we managed well. The management company was very responsive prior and during the stay. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would recommend this spot.

Awesome home in Carbondale. Close enough proximity to Glenwood and Aspen plus other locations to do a variety of fun things for our family reunion. Three things owner could do to help make stay nicer:
1) fence off buildings next to property so exterior looks nicer
2) asphalt parking area to help cut down on dirty shoes even into entry mud room.
3) Hot tub with view of Sopris
