Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5 StarsWe booked last minute (day before check-in). VRBO messaging required a translator due to a language barrier, but communication smoothed out on another platform. Calendar syncing issues caused initial concern, but the host confirmed our reservation quickly.Pros:Clean & Pet-Friendly: Clean home, pet-friendly, with instant-book available.Pool & Patio: Great unheated pool with a waterfall feature and patio TV (use living room remote).Location: Close to everything, including a delicious Dominican restaurant.Beds: Low to the ground, but comfortable. Host is very sweet.Cons:Overgrown Lawn: Fenced yard had long grass with burrs/stickers that got all over our dogs' fur.AC & Fans: House stayed around 79F during a heat wave, with no ceiling or box fans.Furniture: No standard couch; only a hard patio wicker set. Main bathroom toilet is very low. Master TV language was stuck in Spanish.Essentials: Minimal supplies—no cleaning products to wipe tables. Washer/dryer are out on the patio.Summary:Great for a quick 1–2 night stay. With yard maintenance, better AC/fans, and a comfortable couch, this could easily be a 5-star rental!
