1st impressions matter. While the property is new, clean and modern. The front desk check in staff I had, was terrible I had prepaid the room through expedia, upon check in, there was some sort of problem with it. The front desk girl had someone else come and try to determine the issue, at no point did either of them tell me what the issue was, they both kept staring at the computer screen clicking the keyboard. After 10 minutes they obviously figured something out then took my card to preauthorize for the resort fee that would still be due. There was still no applogy for the delay or what the problem was. Upon checkout, had to present my card again to be charged the resort fee. Told her my card was already authorized and the fee captured at check-in, was told no, we dont have a card on file and we need to charge it again. So while the property is very clean and nice, the check-in/checkout experience is enough to taint my view of the hotel.
