    I was staying on the fifth floor and was informed by maintenance that there was a camera found facing towards my door. My room door code was in full view of the camera. The host denied that he installed the camera and did not inform me about this. I had to request a room change, which he complied with. I, however, did not feel safe with my stay at all. The apartment on the 5th floor reeked of cigarette smoke, but the unit on the 3rd floor was cleaner. Overall, would not recommend unless you are desperate for a cheap place and are not alone.

    The host:Kind, helpful, and quick to respond right from the first day we booked. Check-in:Really quick and simple, and the door codes were easy to remember which we appreciated! Building and Location:Super convenient, short walk to the river, Kensington, the train station, and there's a coffee shop right across the street. There was always a parking spot on the street out front for parking over night (read the signs), and we also used a spot in the alley.The building was very quiet. We stayed for 5 days and didn't hear any noise from outside, or from other building tenants. The Room:It's more like a hotel room than an apartment, but it's exactly as pictured! It's pretty bare bones, you get what you pay for, but it's got most of the essentials; bathroom with toilet paper, soap, shampoo, 2 towels, and INCREDIBLE water pressure in the shower. Kitchens got a microwave, mini-fridge, and small stove, 2 plates, bowls, cups, etc. There are no cleaning supplies provided, having a broom and some Lysol wipes provided would have made the stay feel a bit more comfortable.If you're staying for more than a night or two I would recommend bringing some paper towel and what not. Overall if you're not fancy person and you're looking for a nice private bed and a bathroom, for a very affordable price, this is the spot ! I would absolutely stay here again, if traveling alone or with a partner or friend I don't mind sharing a bed with :)Thank you to our host!
