The room was really nice, a large lofty space with the ensuite built into it. Lots of space, light flooding in through a tall window. Lovely.

The room was very clean, well decorated and contained a fridge and safe. (Only thing missing was a desk/dressing table). The staff were all polite and helpful and the spa facilities excellent. We’ll be back.

Spa was excellent. Loved the variety of steam/sauna rooms and pools. The outdoor pool was great and the indoor one with the glass stained roof was amazing. So chilled and relaxing. The hotel room was very spacious. Staff were friendly. The Darwin’s Bar was cosy and welcoming. We had two cocktails which were very well made. Only let down was the restaurant. If we were to stay again we’d eat somewhere else.

Had another lovely stay at Buxton Crescent the staff the room and the amenities were all amazing The spa is by far the real reason to choose this hotel the rooftop pool and super clean facilities are fantastic. I would recommend going down early for breakfast because unfortunately several items on the menu had been kept warm far too long but I’m probably just being too picky. I would highly recommend we came away feeling very relaxed and happy with our stay will definitely return.

We booked the Ensana Buxton Crescent Hotel as a Christmas present through Hotels.com and got some good cashback and discounts, which made the stay feel excellent value for money. We chose the upgraded Crescent Room and absolutely loved it. The bathroom was a real highlight—spacious, with a big shower, a lovely bath, and décor that really suited our taste. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed the view over the spa. The TV could have been better, as a few channels didn’t work, but it didn’t affect our stay too much. The standout feature for us was the spa access throughout our stay. The rooftop pool was beautiful and just the right temperature, and the range of saunas and steam rooms was fantastic. Such a relaxing experience! Breakfast the next morning was very nice, though the service could have been slightly quicker. Overall, a wonderful stay and well worth the trip. We’d definitely return.

Lovely stay. Highlights are the spa, the breakfast, the room and the location of course. A couple of things that could make it better: while most staff seem courteous and helpful, we found Reception a little less so - no greetings, not a lot of warmth, and somewhat impersonal. We also thought that for high quality rooms a few things were missing - for example a shower cap (given that there is only an overhead shower and the hand shower is at navel level), a hand conditioner cream, a shaving mirror (in the attic bathroom the mirror cuts off at tummy level). But we enjoyed the stay and will return. The new owners just need to keep an eye on the welcome and in-room experience.

The room was spotless and the staff helpful. The spa is excellent and the breakfast scrumptious. It's in the centre of Buxton - a beautiful town that's enjoyable to explore and well situated for walks in the surrounding countryside.

Beautiful room but shower was very hit and miss if it had hot water or not!! TV was also a bit dodgy as the reception kept going! Spa was gorgeous and all staff were cheerful and helpful.

The stay was great and the staff friendly and professional. The disabled facilities from getting into the building to room facilities poor. Very bumpy external ramp. Beds in disabled rooms to high and a raised lip between bedroom and bathroom.
