Wish we had more time

Great place, we were there for a race but enjoyed our limited time at the property relaxing. Well provisioned. I took a lime from the tree. I feel better now.

Perfect Country Getaway

Property was perfect for our needs and comfortably slept all 9 family members. Large Homestead with two big living areas, ample dining areas, a well stocked kitchen, and a billiard table which kept everyone well entertained. Shortish walk (approx 600 meters) to the river - nil fish caught but the Serenity worth the trip! Very clean and tidy with plenty of rustic charm. Nothing to fault - will be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time!

50 and fabulous

I booked this property for my 50th birthday so my friends and family could stay in the one place. The property is gorgeous, the mud brick makes the house feel so welcoming, comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are all lovely, most with ensuites. Nice linen and plenty of spare woollen blankets. The views are gorgeous and the private beach spectacular. We spent a day down there paddleboarding and fishing. The boys caught a fish and loved it. Plenty of wood for the fire pit and lovely owners made our weekend one to remember. Thank you!!

Stunning Views

Wonderful destination for our friends to have a get together for a birthday. Amazing views from inside and outside the house. Nice to be able to walk down to the river and be only 20 mins from Metung and the Hot Springs. Great for walks and bike rides too Steve was a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay

Great property for a large group

We had 6 adults and 5 children staying at this lovely property. It was ideal as all the adults had on suites and the children had their own bathroom. The view was spectacular from the living areas. We especially liked the walk down to the river where there was a nice flat beach for the children to play without fear of falling into the river. The dogs loved swimming in the river which was quite shallow at the edge. There were kayaks to use as well plus extra bikes available. There is plenty of space for a large party in the house. Farmer Steve kept us well supplied with firewood. I would highly recommend this property for a lovely stay in the country. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Steve and Ruth.

Meninge is wonderful

Huge House brilliantly set up for large group. fully equiped kitchen complete with all appliances including 2 coffee machines. Steve the host very welcoming. Pool table a winner and beds all very comfy. Surrounds picturesque with amazing views. cannot fault this beautiful place.

Beautiful outlook, the house was great, the river was a bit further away from the house than what we expected but beautiful and fun, hosts were fantastic, would certainly recommend and will stay again in the future

Amazing family holiday

Amazing house with spacious and comfortable communal space. Great facilities and well appointed with everything you need for a BBQ and cooking up a feast! Great for family holidays. The host is generous, kind and welcoming. Views are spectacular. Recommended!

Great house with amazing views

We all loved the house, the views and the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. We had lots of laughs playing pool. The accomodating kitchen, with 2 fridges and bbq made wining and dining relaxing and enjoyable.

Fantastic getaway

Such a great house and location. Huge living areas and lovely rooms for all guests. Very clean, well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. Slightly disappointed we couldn't use the fireplace as some guests were excited to use. Couldn't connect with property manager after hours so I feel that process could be improved. But other than that a perfect stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend to others

Beautiful farm stay close to everything you need

We had a lovely long weekend staying at this property. The house is incredibly big and perfect for a large group of friends/family. The bathroom per room is exceptional. The property feels like a farm stay and the walk down to the river is beautiful. The Tambo Winery is also within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
