The apartment was bigger than I expected with an equipped kitchen that made it easier to make my own meals if I wanted. The location was perfect! Lots of cafes and restaurants. Felt safe to walk around at night time.

The apartment wasn’t well equipped for cooking even when it was advertised as such. Only one burner worked, cooking utensils were missing and non stick frying pan was completely used to a point of everything cooked stuck to the pan. The front door key was from the 1950s and was very difficult to use. The fingerprint technology to exit and enter from the outside didn’t work well at all. But the cherry on top was when a “cleaner” entered my apartment while I was in the shower. I grabbed a towel, confronted her and while dripping wet she proceeded to get on her translation app to tell me she rang the doorbell. I kept pointing to the door to get her to leave. She didn’t. The conversation continued for 10 minutes while I felt completely victimized and frustrated. I didn’t feel safe after that encounter which was completely shocking to me as I had paid quite a bit for this “luxury” apartment. I travel alone and this is the first time I felt this way at any apartment I’ve rented. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone and would warn single women to be careful if staying here.

The apartment itself is nice. Nicely furnished, good condition, clean, hot water, etc. It is however located on a busy intersection, making it loud 24/7. The windows have no insulation whatsoever so it’s both cold and LOUD. Also there’s no smoking on the balcony which they don’t tell you till you get there.

Es un hotel, la recepción no está al frente y a veces no están en el lugar. La ubicación es algo lejos del obelisco, si nos gustó por el espacio con la familia. No limpian todos los días, y ahí es donde a veces uno necesita algo y no hay personal en la recepción 24hrs. Tiene mucho ruido se escucha todo lo de afuera entonces para dormir si es algo incómodo.

Pésima gestión y me sentí estafado

Para comenzar me sentí estafado, es la primera vez en casi 10 años usando Hotels.com que me obligan a pagar un extra por impuestos (IVA) sobre precio de la reserva para darme la llave de mi habitación. En la reserva no aclaraba que debiera pagarse más importe por impuestos. Hubo otro problema al llegar, he perdido alrededor de 45 minutos discutiendo en la recepción porque en el sistema de Byblos no reflejaba el cambio de fechas que había realizado (a tiempo considerando las condiciones de la reserva) a través de la app Hotels.com.
