Very pet friendly both in the accommodation and the bar/restaurant. I had forgotten to pack my dogs bowls and the staff kindly found me 2 to borrow. Everyone was very sociable and kind.

Don’t stay here! We had an awful room hard twin beds. The place had music full blast. The staff were playing football outside during their breaks. It seemed rough. We checked out and booked another hotel in Exeter.

The check in and welcome was spot on. Room was tired with several stains on the carpet. We ate here and felt like we were sat in the staff area . They were eating and drinking and there was lots of swearing, not what you really want to see and hear in a not particularly cheap stay.

Not the first or last time I have stayed here. I always know what to expect, from the welcome, brilliant food, great atmosphere, and comfortable room. I could here noise from the bar and kitchens but all quiet before 11oclock

Charming village stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Kings Arms, Otterton. It was a charming village location. The room, although small, was clean and nicely decorated. The food was lovely and the Continental breakfast was one of the best we've had. We would definitely stay again

Nice enough but too many dogs

Beds are comfortable and there are tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water. Car parking is easy. They provide a fan which was useful as the traffic is a bit noisy to have the window open. Curtains are very thin so the room is light from early morning. They don’t offer a cooked breakfast on Wednesday or Thursday mornings but there is a continental choice of toast, pastries, cereal and yoghurt. There are a lot of dogs in the pub and dining areas, it is very dog friendly and gets a bit smelly! There was even a puddle on the floor one evening for over 2 hours. It put us off our food a bit.
