Village Idyll

Buchet is a very nice and quiet place, ideal to rest after a stay in a big city. Beautiful wood nearby, the house is super cozy. We enjoyed our stay.

Last time we will visit this property

We have stayed here 3 times, Buchet is a lovely area, mrs Peters is a perfect caretaker very welcoming and the house is nice BUT this year we found one of the neighbours to be nasty. one eve around midnight a neighbour put dog dirt (a large pile, from many different dogs over a long time it seemed ) next to our car we feel this was due to us being British tho I hope it was not as I'm sure racism is frowned on in Germany. The owner turned up on the last few days of our trip and completely ruined the experience. He refused to acknowledge my husband when he waved and on one occasion as my husband took the dog outside who at the time started to "tinkle" on the grass became aggressive and shouted at him. How do you stop a dog? We washed down the wee as we had done throughout the holiday and was blamed for burn marks in grass which some had been there as we arrived and we had chased the neighbours dog off on a number of occasions from doing its business so possibly that dog was to blam. (But hey blame the English who have paid good money over the last 4 years to stay with you) We also were charged Eight euros for a basket of wood which on the website it claims it is five. It was not clear on the website the cost of washing but to let anyone reading this know it is charged per wash and we worked it out to be two euro a go and you need to provide your own powder and softener so the money is literally for water and electricity a little steep I feel. The racist neighbours we could deal with but the rude owner has led us to decide that this house is no longer one we will recommend!

Heerlijk huisje.

Wij hebben erg genoten van het huis en de prachtige omgeving. Vanuit het huis beginnen diverse wandelroutes. Wij werden erg leuk ontvangen. Het huis is schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Een mooie tuin met diverse zitjes. Wij komen zeker terug!

Herr und Frau Nolting sind herzliche Gastgeber, die uns immer tolle Ausflugs/Wandertips gegeben haben.FEWO ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Fijn gezellig vakantiehuisje met mooie wandelwegen in de buurt.Alles wat we nodig hadden is aanwezig in het huis. Ook de check in en het contact met frau Peters ging zeer gemoedelijk. Zij gaf ons mooie tips voor wandelingen in de omgeving. Wij komen zeker nog terug.

Total super! Wir brauchten nach einer etwas stressigen Zeit Ruhe und Erholung - unser Urlaub in Haus Schneifel war ERHOLUNG PUR! Herr & Frau Nolting sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber und haben uns vorab viel Infomaterial geschickt. Wir konnten daher alles im voraus planen und Frau Peters hat uns bei extra Fragen super geholfen. Die FeWo ist liebevoll gestaltet und mit allem (und mehr) ausgestattet was man nur brauchen kann. Alles in allem, es war ein toller Urlaub. Wir koennen einen Aufenthalt in Haus Schneifel 100% empfehlen und hoffen bald zurueckzukommen.

Sehr gut

Wir haben das verlängerte Karnevalswochenende in Buchet verbracht. Die Wohnung ist prima (sehr sauber und gut möbliert) und die Umgebung sehr schön. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Unsere beiden Hunde haben sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Schöne Weihnachtstage in gemütlicher Umgebung
