Summary: Relax with the whole family at this peaceful ground-floor 2BR condo (1 queen & 4 individuals), located in a gated community with a large swimming pool, lounge chairs, shared rooftop terrace with ocean views, & an ancient Huanacaxtle tree. The condo has a TV room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, and private patio in front of the pool. We are 100m from the beach and 1 block away from a large grocery store, Chedraui.
The Space: The building has security, a parking area specifically for guests, as well as a large pool area. The beach entrance is 6 blocks down the road (about 7-9 minute walk). One of the greatest advantages is having Chedraui, a very large supermarket, literally around the corner. There are also great local restaurants very close such as Lamara (our favorite Ceviche place in town), La Quinta di Francesco (Italian), and the amazing Barchelata Sports Bar.
Guest Access: There is a large pool area with lounge chairs and seating areas.
The Neighborhood: Located in the Golden Zone neighborhood of Bucerias, you'll be within walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, galleries, and most importantly, the beach! There is a large grocery store 1 block away, and the taxi stand is 2 blocks away. Our favorite bar in town is just 3 blocks down the road, Barchelata, with local craft beer on tap and about 20 TVs with every sport imaginable. Within walking distance, there are multiple great restaurants with delicious ceviche, asian-fusion, italian, and more!
Getting Around: Bucerias is very walkable. There is a bicycle rental shop on Lazaro Cardenas on your way to the beach that also has e-bikes! Bucerias is a great spot for exploring everything Bahia de Banderas and the Riviera Nayarit have to offer. By Car / Uber your place is only: -- 20 minutes from the Airport -- 10 minutes to Nuevo Vallarta -- 25 minutes to Punta Mita -- 35 minutes to Downtown Puerto Vallarta -- 30 minutes to Sayulita
Other Things to Note: This was one of the first condo developments in Bucerias, so it has been part of our community for a few decades. Please keep this in mind when booking this property as you will find characteristics of an older property such as window AC units or vintage style kitchen cabinets. Despite this, the pool area and mature tropical landscaping make this property a charming gem in Bucerias.

check in was easy Good communication. Staff, excellent All units are privately owned, so all have different amenities. We are 66 and 69 years old and the walk to the different beach access was no problem for us. Cobblestone streets, very quaint. Fresh seafood and butcher shop within 10 minute walk. Large grocery store just around the corner. Various street markets on different days in the area. We are looking to rebook here in the near future

Great Location, Tired Unit
We just returned from a week in Bucerías. The location was excellent — walking distance to restaurants, markets, and the beach. The unit's proximity to the pool was perfect for our kids, and the community feel and common areas were lovely.Unfortunately, the unit itself felt rundown and lacked cleanliness — dishes were put away dirty, the kitchen and bathrooms were grimy, and the fridge is barely functional. We also had cockroaches entering from an unlisted back solarium, which was a surprise.This unit is the only one with access via sliding glass door only, making it feel less secure than others. The photos don’t match the current setup, and communication with the property manager was poor — especially when our rate unexpectedly increased after a booking change.Overall, the location and community were wonderful, but we wouldn’t stay in this particular unit again.

A lot is missing
For the first 8 days we had no hot water. I called the manager Eric on day 1 and nothing happened for the next 7 days. The entire place needs some serious updating for that price. No curtains in the living room. A rock under the fridge bc it rocks back and forth every time you open it. Toilet seats broke loose all the time even after being repaired. The oven almost exploded as it has to be lit with a match. Be careful. Towels were like sand paper. One shower hardly drained at all. Over all, the area is great, but we were very disappointed with the condo. I expected a rebate on the rent bc we had no hot water got one quarter of our trip. Not quality at all.

Decent Unit at a Decent Price
Unit is accurately portrayed on VRBO. Furnishings and features typical of a rental property; entirely satisfactory given the price point. Weekly cleaners was a nice service. Property offers a nice choice between sun or shade as it is just a couple steps from the sunny pool deck.

Nice condo, great location
Confirm with Eric you have the correct outside gate code. This changed occasionally for security and we had an old code but someone there let us in and gave us the updated code. The condo is nicely set up for a family and is only several steps from the pool but the patio has a gate for safety. The large, clean pool is amazing and it has a shallow area for little ones. The property is located next to the big grocery store and there are many restaurants in the area. The beach is about 10-15 mins walk down the street and around the big resort. Check out the road to the left past the resort onto a dirt path. Keep going to the paved path and it is a lovely walk through a nice park. A bit of a downside is there were a few things that need fixing such as the living room blinds were broken and we couldn't close them for privacy, along with a few other minor things that needed fixing. The owner was emailed so hopefully things are fixed and then this would be a 5 Star rating.
