Pros:
The hotel is beautifully designed with a modern, stylish atmosphere.
Most staff members were friendly and helpful, especially the young man who checked us in and the young woman who made an effort to resolve our A/C issue.
The location is excellent and convenient.
Complimentary water in the lobby was a thoughtful and appreciated touch.
Cons:
The toilet in our room was uneven and wobbled when used.
The design of the sink and shower is sleek, but unfortunately, the drains under the panels were not clean.
There was an unidentifiable splatter on the ceiling near the room entrance, which detracted from the otherwise clean appearance.
The air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. We reported it to the front desk, who promptly contacted maintenance. However, the two maintenance staff who came up were extremely dismissive, stayed less than a minute, and muttered comments under their breath as they left. They claimed the A/C was working, but it clearly was not—the room remained uncomfortably warm. A front desk representative was apologetic and offered us a voucher for two drinks, which we appreciated. She also mentioned that a manager would follow up with us, but no one ever did. While the gesture was kind, the dismissive attitude from maintenance and the lack of follow-up made the experience feel disrespectful and disappointing. I did contact the hotel and advise the manager of of the experience. They did apologize for the incident.
