Cozy Home on Lake Brownwood

Discover the ease of a trip from the comfort and convenience of the 3 bedroom 2 bath vacation home. This property boasts of a large boat dock on the lake with close proximity to golf courses and local eateries. After a day spent on lake Brownwood, unwind with a meal made in a full kitchen and relax in the yard around the fire pit or in the cozy living area by the fireplace. if you are seeking serenity, this home is the the ideal spot for the "vacation you".

The space
This is a 0.3 acre property with a wide (approximate 65 feet) lakefront and 1600 square living space in a one level house. The boat dock is large, around 750 square feet , with 2 boat lifts, dining table, multiple fishing rod holders . It has a second level 500 square feet deck for a 180 degree view of the lake and surrounding areas.

There is a ladder (in the boat dock) that helps access the water safely if the level is deep.

The back patio of the house overlooks the lake and is very scenic, especially during sunrise and in the evenings when the boat dock is lit up.

The lake brownwood water level varies. The lake has almost been full since June 2024 with water level of approximately 6-7 feet at the boat dock, perfect for swimming and fishing. We have provided a canoe for the guests to use for free. We require for guests to sign a liability waiver. But message me for any concerns.

The backyard is spacious, good for games, with bbq (charcoal and gas), a fire pit
or just lounging around looking at the stars at night.

The location is near restaurants, grocery stores, golf courses, and nightlife.

We use a smart lock on the main guest entrance to assure convenience, safety, and security. This means no one else can enter the property on a set booking date except the guests.

We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed - canoe that was advertised was up on the dock and there was no way for two folks in 70’s to manage putting it in the water or taking it out. Plus, it was windy so we blew off reaching out to the host for help. The layout of the house is quirky although plenty of room for families that have kids. The view of the lake from the house is limited to the kitchen window. The yard is nice but the only place to fish was from the covered boat dock making casting a challenge. Additionally, what sounded like a car or house alarm went off our 2nd night there which was disturbing until it finally stopped. We never did figure out where it was coming from. As far as cleanliness and decor, we noticed black mold around the tub and a lot of mismatched furniture and stuff. The house looks lived-in (it’s a lake house) and that was okay with us especially considering the nice linens and towels provided as well as a decently stocked kitchen, snacks and water.

We had our annual guys weekend here. There were 8 of us and we fit and slept comfortably. The property had plenty of room for games, lounging, and just kicking back and relaxing. The covered boat dock was perfect. The adults hung out on the bottom deck while the kiddos fished from the upper deck. The hosts where very attentive to our needs, although there was not many. The property was everything we expected and more. We will definitely book another stay here. -Marco

Great location, great Host's

This place was great. It was perfect for our venue. House is clean and everything functional. We came to play on the lake and visit family. Lake is full and spill way running over. We spent most our time on the water or the boat dock. Dock is large has two boat lifts and a second floor balcony. The boat lift is size limited. My 19' I/O was a little wide. So conveniently the RV park has a boat ramp about 300 feet away from the house dock. They charged 5 per launch or recovery for ramp use. So 10 a day was no big deal. It's like you have your own private boat ramp. Also the property has a nice big shed you can back the boat into for overnight. Don't hesitate a rent if it fits your venue. Totally worth it!

Great location

This place is situated right on the water. You literally walk about 50 yards from the back door to the dock. The backyard is spacious. The dock has plenty of room for fishing and just enjoying the outdoors. The house is pretty spacious. We had everything we needed for a great family vacation. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice location for what we needed.

Was a very nice clean house. You do notice the traffic noise from the bridge acress the lake that is very close. All and all, a nice place to stay for what we needed.
