Return to Brookings!

6 friends from Missoula, Montana, along with 2 dogs, stayed at the Porch in Brookings for a long weekend in mid-February. The house was everything we hoped for - lots of room for the 6 of us, a fenced yard for the dogs, a well-equipped kitchen, lots of towels and hot water, every bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect with great access to the beaches, trails and all that the Brookings metro area has to offer. We enjoyed our time! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Perfect space for everyone

Our extended family (ages 2-77) enjoyed the spacious layout that provided fantastic communal and private space. The beds and cozy blankets everywhere made curling up in relaxation a must. Every supply we needed was provided. Communication with owner was fantastic and prompt.

Great Hub for Coastal Adventures!

Our family had a great time, hanging out at this Brookings home. It is conveniently located, close to the harbor, restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here on future trips to Brookings!

Family vacation

This was a very nice place to stay for our family vacation. It had enough room for everyone to spread out and nice amenities. We were able to enjoy the close beaches and visit the Redwoods. Communication and check in was easy!

A Great Stay!

Comfortable, centrally located gem

VERY clean, well-maintained and comfortable home. Beds were very comfortable, ample pillows and extra blankets available in each room, very well-stocked kitchen, garage parking, tidy backyard with grill available, great WiFi coverage, and definitely set up for families! This home was centrally located in town, just a few minutes’ drive to the main strip of businesses and restaurants along Chetco Ave. We had a very, very comfortable stay for a weekend getaway to Brookings with the kids and dogs. We have stayed in a few other rentals in town and this one is our favorite one, by far. We come to Brookings every year and will definitely be booking this home again!

Immaculate and spacious

Such an amazing clean and spacious home away from home, everyone enjoyed spending down time relaxing here, the kitchen was great, fully stocked. We had lots of family meals here. The Porch

Beautiful home!

We loved this place! The house was immaculate and gorgeous- well decorated and stocked with essentials. They even provided phone chargers in almost every room, which was so convenient. The space was open and the layout allowed our family to be together for every meal.

Great for families

We rented Porch as our home base while visiting my Mom for the holidays. We had two families at this house - no small children, but the house is well-equipped for that, too! The kitchen is spacious and truly is stocked with a good selection of pots, pans, dishes, spices, etc. Plenty of room for hanging out indoors or outdoors, close to everything, quiet neighborhood. The upstairs rooms are very large. I will definitely keep this in mind for future visits.

December in Brookings

Excellent rental with everything you need for a great stay in Brookings. I was super happy that the kitchen fully and well stocked, pans were new and unscratched, knives were sharp and everything was so clean! We were able to enjoy the balcony and porch and was happy there was a truly securely fenced yard for our dogs so we could relax outside. The BBQ was great and was used. :-) Everything was perfect and we all had a great stay without any problems or complaints. The hosts are super responsive and helpful with suggestions and going the extra mile to make our stay a pleasure. They provide a lot of local sightseeing recommendations on the entry desk and have really thought of everything. We will be planning to use this rental again when visiting the area.

Great Family Home

We had a fabulous family Thanksgiving in Brookings. This house was perfectly set up for a family. They provided games, both inside and outside. The rooms were huge, the kitchen stocked, and the ability to do laundry was a bug plus for a family with 4 active children. The location was great - close to a park with walking paths and a huge playground, close to town/grocery store and also not far from the roads that lead back to the forest, river, and hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your "porch" in Brookings!

We will be back

Loved the well cared for home. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and walkable. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare all our meals. We did dine out and the restaurants were all close by. Several beaches are just minutes away. The owners were very helpful and friendly. There was even an accessible attached garage for our car which was a plus. The backyard is completely fenced so I felt super comfortable letting our Golden go outside. We have family in Harbor and are very familiar w/ Brookings. This home is in a great location. And so worth a visit. Oh and did I mention the large screen tv? Local news, national sports, and movies. And the internet? My husband had to work remotely and his laptop connection was outstanding. The owners have provided such a welcoming environment we could have stayed longer than the week we were there.

5 mins from Harris Beach

Family trip to play on the beach and explore the Chetco river. Accurate listing. Clean, comfy home with fully stocked kitchen and everything in good working order. Plenty of room to spread out with 6 people. Would highly recommend!!
