Amazing dog friendly property with the best views. David and Sian are great hosts and provided thoughtful recommendations throughout our stay. The house has everything you need to cook in the kitchen and relax in the living room.

Everything top notch!Host communicated fully and offered assistance and we felt very welcome Fantastic location/exquisite view.Home beautifully decorated. Dog happy friendly.Excellent fenced yard. So many great interesting things in yard. View amazing! Closed in back deck, comfortable and dog friendly as well.WELL equipped kitchen. Able to cook full meals and even bake! Everything in good working order, no complaints on functionalities. Wood stove geat, I have never seen fully stocked wood and kindling before. Only suggestion is to put a King bed in the master bedroom. We ended up sleeping separately, (not used to a queen) but that is not a deal breaker! 2nd bedroom full bed was comfy for my wife.Loved this place! Hope we can find it and book it again!

I'm hesitant to tell others how great this place is for fear it will be even more booked in the future than it currently is, but I have to be honest, this place is great! When we walked in we both said, "wow, it's so much nicer than the pics". Views are incredible, covered porch is great in bad weather, property is private and yard is great, and the furniture and decor is much nicer than most pet friendly properties. About the only thing I would recommend is a king bed in the master bedroom. The owners were super gracious, easy to work with, and quick to respond. We are already looking at dates to come back. Fabulous Place to Stay

This place is a definite 10. The view was spectacular, the house comfortable and delightful, the owners were most helpful and generous, the location was close to everything, including wonderful beaches, the weather was amazing (sunny and clear for our stay of 10 days. The kitchen had everything one might need, including condiments in refrigerator, plenty of work space with dishes and pans, the deck/porch was wonderful to relax on and view the sunsets, very clean, wood stove with lots of firewood, large yard for our dog to roam. Just can't say enough about this listing; it was everything we hoped for and more. Reasonable price too. We will return.

Perfect location, wonderful hosts

We stayed here for four nights the week before the Christmas holiday. We were expecting stormy weather and seasonal high tides and this was the perfect location for storm-watching. The cottage has floor to ceiling windows on the ocean-facing side of the cottage. The cottage itself is beautifully furnished - with a comfy, luxurious feel and lots of character. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed and the communication was excellent.

Ocean views!

This lovely home occupies a spacious, private location with spectacular ocean views. We spent many hours on the comfortable covered deck, staring at the scenery. Everything about this place was conducive to a relaxing getaway. The hosts are friendly and communicative, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Five stars!

BEST MOST RELAXING VACATION EVER

We stayed here with our 16 year old daughter and our pets two 9 pound pups. It was a beautiful view and yard and house was fully stocked so made for making meals easy. The host was soooo sweet and left us an unexpected welcome gift. We will stay here again I can’t say enough about the kindness of the host and the incredible home!! Thank you! The Murphy Family

Road trip squad

This was a beautiful trip. Our place was amazing for both us peoples and our 3 furry barbies. The yard was huge with lots of area to play. The natural border was perfect which they never challenged and we could leave the doors open to let them come and go.. conversations with owners minimally needed but they responded immediately. Can't wait to stay there again

February in the ‘tropics’

We live up on the Canadian border in the mountains of central Washington, so Brookings in February seems almost tropical in comparison. This very comfortable house is perfect for winter storm watching. We spent hours on the covered deck every day watching the constantly changing weather — everything from springtime sunshine to passing thunderstorms and even a day of frequent snow flurries. Never a dull moment. We’ll be back!

Our hosts David and Sian were so amazing and kind. They were in touch with us the night before with check in instructions, and even texted us recommendations for dining and shopping in the area. The property is gorgeous with a large deck to really soak in the ocean view. The neighborhood is quiet. The home is fully stocked with everything you could ever need. There was a great big TV with sound bar, DVDs and Blu-ray’s with nice newer movies! The smart tv allows you to sign into your streaming services. There was a coffee maker, espresso machine, kettle, coffee grinder, iron, and so many more appliances above the standard toaster and microwave. The dishwasher, sink, fridge, and range/oven were new and in great condition. Gorgeous bathrooms too! We had our two senior dogs with us. They enjoyed the deck as much as we did. The property has a chain link gate that you can close and keep your dogs inside the property. While the property is not fully fenced, it worked great for us! We mentioned to the owners that it was our honeymoon and they even left a little bride and groom trinket as well as some gifts to welcome us. Thank you David and Sian for the most incredible stay. We will be back!

Fantastic!

This was our last stop on a two month journey and we definitely saved the best for last! The home is beautiful, comfortable and extremely well-equipped. We could have spent the entire time on the deck, just watching the ocean! The owners, David and Sian, are very accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Gorgeous view and home-away-from-home feel!

The view from the deck is gorgeous and expansive! The house is newly remodeled, clean and thoughtfully stocked. The Viking range was a dream to cook on and bake in - a fabulous way to take advantage of all the fresh local seafood and produce. Sian was an incredibly gracious host, offering us unprecedented assistance when our rental car broke down on Labor Day. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the house, the experience and our hosts! Looking forward to staying again!

A true gem

We had amazing time staying at this property in late May. House is completely remodeled, very tastefully decorated and essentially brand new inside. Property is also super clean inside (I am not sure how are they doing it, this house was sparkling clean). View from the back porch is to die for. Best view of Southern Oregon coast with blue Pacific and scattered haystacks scattered in the ocean stretching for miles. No need for AC as cool breeze enters the house. Sunny porch in the AM, sunny backyard/deck in the PM. So close to the Harris beach but not on the beach so you do not get the wind. Secluded in the peaceful leafy neighborhood with big trees, in a very private big lot. Owners are the nicest people I have interacted with through the VRBO website. This place is a gem. Our to go place when vacationing on the coast. Thank you so much!!! Sokalski family.

One of the Best

This home is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in and we are serial VRBOers. The ocean view is WAY better than any single pic can capture. The home was VERY comfortable and we absolutely positively will be back again. The 4.5 hour drive to get here is the only possible negative and that has nothing to do with the property. The south Oregon Coast is astoundingly beautiful and it is right outside the window with the Boardman Scenic Corridor mere minutes (like FIVE) to the north.

Gorgeous view, cozy fire, beautiful accomodations

Stayed with my adult children for a few days after the Christmas holiday. Owners were very attentive and helpful. The house is lovely and has a killer view from the back deck. Close to shopping and several dining options. Great location!
