Really enjoyed our stay here. The orchard was lovely and it was really nice to walk along the shore and paddle board in the canal. The house was pretty well kept, but a number of small things that could be better cleaned or upkept. The big porch had a few holes in the screen that let in some bugs. Many of the property features were definitely worn down but overall would certainly come back.

We loved the sunroom and the bunk room was a hit with our kids! The property is beautiful, the beach, the willows and various fruit trees were bursting with life. Host was very communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Wonderful, peaceful experience
The house itself was spacious, clean, and overall perfect. With a group of 8 adults, we made very good use of the well equipped kitchen, large fridge and freezer, and screenroom.
The beach was scenic and beautiful, and the property itself was gorgeous.
There are 2 general stores relatively close to pick up any things we missed, but i definitely appreciated the costco trip my group took before heading to the property.

Olympic Hideaway
A wonderful setting for a getaway with friends and family (kids 4 and 8). Great house with huge screened in porch, outdoor firpit, and a rustic walking path to the shoreline of the Hood Canal. Proximate to hiking (recommend the Maple Valley trail in Dosewallips) and the Hama Hama Oyster Company. Great, responsive owner and easy stay. Highly recommend!
