The host (Mike) was absolutely amazing! His prompt, complete replies to my numerous messages were much appreciated and they always contained kind words and a sincere message that he wanted to help in any way possible!The house was very clean and there was a multitude of extras that made our stay easy and smooth.We loved the fireplace, hot tub and sauna. There was an abundance of towels...the sheets were very nice and the bed comfortable.We loved the outside framed native animal paintings by Robert B. Wilson. I would love to know more about this artist. Mr. Google did not have any information that pointed to this particular artist so I am thinking he is more local.Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Mountain Retreat

Our stay in Connestee Falls was perfect for our family vacation. The home was exactly as advertised, beautiful property! We saw so many deer throughout the neighborhood, and loved the hiking trails available right there in the neighborhood. The home is well maintained and cared for, and the outside deck areas are what made this home perfect for our family. We spent most of our time out there and loved it. The owner was very responsive to all the little questions we had and made our stay super easy. We would definitely return!

Beautiful house with amazing trails behind the house! We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Lots of space in the home with gorgeous little touches all over. Appreciated the hosts responsiveness to questions. Had issues with gate access but host was helpful in helping us be prepared for backup entry method.

Spring vacation 2024

Host is amazing! The home has everything you might want or need. Comfy beds. Nice tv reception. Hot tub and sauna! There are hikes for every level within the community. We saw white squirrels and deer. Brevard is close and is the cutest little town. Nice shops and great choice of restaurants. We loved it here!

Just the get away we were looking for!

My family and my parents spent Thanksgiving weekend at this lovely chalet and I'm happy to share that there were so many aspects of the experience that went above and beyond my expectations. The kitchen was so well stocked we had zero issues preparing a big meal, this was a place where you can tell the owners go b/c there are details that make the place feel like a home which brings so much warmth and personality to the space- in short, everything from the extra towels for the hot tub, skylights, amazing fireplace, views from the porch and the hot tub, comfy firm mattresses and outside fireplace and dining area made our stay one I'll fondly remember for many years. The hosts left a helpful guide with things to do close which proved to be helpful when we didn't want to drive far for a short hike with the kids. My only caution to future guests would be anyone up in the lofted bedroom should not be someone who is a light sleeper or wants to sleep later than the rest of the guests as noise carries easily to the loft. We did have a sound machine with us that helped with this and tended to go to bed and wake up around the same time which made it not a big deal for our family. In the end I loved the house and look forward to returning.

The property host was always quick to respond to my messages. The house was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we could possibly need. They allowed our 2 dogs. Check in/out was very simple. Beautiful view of mountains from deck. It was a wonderful stay

Sparkling clean, perfect vacation vibe

The vintage kitchen appliances add to the charm of this sparkling clean mountain cabin. Super close to the waterfall attractions with cozy soft bed linens to fall into at night. We had a great stay and enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fireplace as well as Star Wars Monopoly! It's a bit of a curvy, hilly location so a challenge for runners but I guess the hiking can check that box. We never s used the club (wish it was closer) and we had enough o do without it!

A gem in the forest

This is an amazing and very peaceful place to stay. The pictures shown in the listing are absolutely accurate except the experience in person is needed to fully comprehend the beauty and peacefulness of this home. Everything was impeccably clean, well organized and labeled. The upper and lower decks are so peaceful - we really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs, bird watching and enjoying the light breeze. The host checked in with us by email during our stay to ensure everything was ok and to see if we had any questions. The home is well equipped with alot of towels and the kitchen has plenty of appliances, plates and utensils. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect escape

This was a great property nestled just far enough away from town to provide plenty of quietness without feeling isolated. The cabin has been well taken care of over the years and is outfitted with a retro feel. The host had everything well stocked and appointed. Communication was great. I couldn’t suggest any improvements. Don’t hesitate about booking your next escape here.

A very private mountain home in the woods

Very nice mountain chalet with a beautiful setting in a secluded gated private community. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! Everything in the home is new and top of the line. Mike was great to deal with and very helpful.
