"Highly recommend not staying here, as there are much better options for the price. The booking was misleading, as photos made it look like I was booking one of the lakeside condos, but ended up in the poolside area as other reviewers mentioned. This alone wouldn't have been a big deal, but the room was unreasonably hot and humid when I got there, wallpaper was peeling off as other reviews mention, the bed/bedding was very old and uncomfortable, the tub was dirty, and the shower made a high pitched squealing noise the entire time it was on. The deadbolt on the door also wouldn't lock, as the door was misaligned. I ended up checking out early and finding other accommodations for the rest of my stay. It sounds like many of the rooms/buildings are now owned by a timeshare company, and they have not put any effort into updating or maintaining the rooms."

"On a hot day, late check-in, no air conditioning, instead the baseboard heat was on. Turned the thermostat off but it stayed warm until morning. Very poorly lit premises and hallway/entrance and it stunk like musty smoke. Nothing on the website(s) indicated you have to go a half a block away to check in to get the key, and it would have been very difficult to find that place in the dark had we not randomly run into another guest. There was barely enough shampoo there to wash your hands, and no hot water early in the morning. Not a good way to welcome your guests! After reading other similar reviews one can see for the most part these things are not being addressed! Next time we pass this way we won’t stay here! What a dingy, creepy place!"
