The address which Orbitz booking took me to was not at the front desk. I entered the building, there were no signs on either the outside or the inside where the front desk was located. I encountered two other couples that were also looking for the front desk. It took about 20 minutes to find the front desk and then there are two floors beginning with the number 2 and it took awhile to find the room. When you arrive late and very tired, it is grueling. I would not book it for the difficulty it was checking in.

During the off peak summer months, this place seems to be half the price of the surrounding properties. And you get what you pay for, I guess. The place is fine, it’s good enough for a budget vacation in Breckenridge. Maintenance and housekeeping could be a bit more detail oriented, though. The door connecting our unit to an adjoining room was unlocked, and I had to call maintenance twice to get it locked properly. Then I found a very moldy something or other in a plastic bag inside one of the kitchen cabinets. It looked like it had been sitting there for weeks. Finally, housekeeping started knocking on our door at 9 AM for an 11 AM check out, and then knocked again at 10:45, even though we had asked to check out a bit later. Annoying but again, you get what you pay for.

The housekeeping was the best part of this property. The game room had a number of machines that didn’t work and we paid $20 for two sodas and a pack of gum (come on, really?) at the Sky Mart.

The room is nice, but some areas need some care, there were part of the walls had been damaged showing drywall. The pillows were the worst part of everything they were small and too soft, unless you folded them then they were hard as a rock. The food was a good but a little limited, I ate a slice of pizza and it was grate, so the next night I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was just ok nothing like the day before.

We had a nice stay at the resort. It was clean, tidy, and kid friendly. I would suggest using a descaler for the shower head in our room to improve the water pressure. Also the humidifier had a filter that needed changing. We checked out 2 days early and have not heard back in regards to our refund. I spoke to Zach at the concierge desk and he said he would email Expedia back regarding our refund. Thank you for the stay.

The steam & sauna wasn’t working properly. It took awhile for the steam room to come on. The jets in the hot tubs were not very strong. We couldn’t turn the heat down/off and the room got extremely hot overnight. It’s probably typical for this time of year but the dining options were slim to none.

Great stay. The hotel is a bit rundown and depending on which room you get, it may or may not be renovated. You cannot beat the location, though. Staff was also friendly. Very clean and comfortable.

Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed this resort but were a bit let down that the restaurant/bar were closed until June 1st. Why have most everything operational but not that. We felt like we did not get our monies worth since all amenities were NOT available and the price should have been much lower because of this.
