Having the two apartments side by side with a connecting door was perfect for our situation. Both parties had privacy when needed but could easily share cooking,food and time together as they wished. So many amenities were provided like soaps, paper towels, tissues, garbage bags, linens and even wood for the fire pit. The host was amazing to work with. We loved that we were not butted right up against other lake houses but had space which gave our dog some freedom. The dog loved the water. The boat launch next to the house was too steep to launch our pontoon boat but there was easier access nearby and our own dock to use just down the hill from the house. The decor was well done and fitting for the adirondacks. The lake was much bigger than imagined and my 16 year old grandson (who had gotten his boating certification for the trip) was in his glory driving us around it. We had a great stay!
