Stay in Pointe Royale

The main floor of this home is nice, updated, and perfectly accommodating for a family visit in Branson. We enjoyed the large living room and outdoor area. Access to a pool, hot tub, and other resort amenities were also appreciated. We ran into some cleanliness issues in the basement where the majority of our party stayed. The basement bathroom had a drain fly issue that spread into the bedrooms. The combination of the shower curtain liner being really dirty along with all the flies left all of us feeling hesitant to use the shower. The return vent was absolutely caked in dust and debris. The linens all felt clean and modern, just the several aspects mentioned above would leave us looking for somewhere different to stay next time. The other part of our experience worth noting was the difficulty we had communicating with the host. I had several questions about our stay and attempted messaging and calling the host 8 different times starting 16 days prior to our stay with no response. I did not receive a response until I called VRBO direct and they intervened on my behalf.

This unit was not equipped for 6 adults. The cleaning people did not do a very good job. The unit smelled musty. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Our host has the details.

Basic Kitchen supplies lacking

We had a party of 7 people staying in the condo for a family Christmas. We packed a lot of kitchen supplies we did not expect the condo to have (pressure cooker, high end knives, a preferred frying pan, etc). However, the kitchen had 4 coffee cups, 6 forksand only a few cooking utensils. We've stayed at multiple properties throughout the years and this was the worst stocked kitchen. The coffee maker make took 1.5 hours to brew a pot of coffee. Other than that, it served it's purpose. a12 pitc

Great place but no communication

The place was very clean. We enjoyed staying there and would stay again. While we got texts from owners (probably automated), they never responded to my texts. We stayed there 3 nights and wanted to know how to get the 3rd night free that they advertised.

Missing Smoke Detectors and Cleanliness Issues

The condo was in a great location and looked like it would be great, but most of the smoke detectors in the home were missing, which is a huge safety issue that we would not have risked if we hadn’t checked in late after a long day at the parks. There was a box fan in one bedroom apparently being used to try to air out an odor. There was a hole in one bedroom window (an hole in the glass, not just a screen hole) another bedroom window was open when we arrived and had a broken crank to close it. The towels were damp. There was a significant amount of dust on the ceiling fans and air vents, and the shower liner in the downstairs bathroom was moldy.

Nice but some small issues!

Overall very nice location. However, one TV has a busted screen, and we had several issues with batteries in remotes and lightbulbs out. There's a flower vase in the living room that's a serious safety hazard. I would definitely say do not book if you are counting on the amenities. There's absolutely zero view of the lake but you can drive a ways to find it! It is very close to the clubhouse and pool, however!

Very disappointing stay

I asked if we could check in one hour prior to 4 pm and had to outreach twice to get a response- which ultimately was no as I never heard back. There was a huge lack of communication from anyone with questions or concerns, unit had not been cleaned, dirty beds, filthy floors, shower was so bad I opted not to take a shower. This was a bucket list trip for my sister that has a terminal diagnosis and to get to this unit in the condition it was in was very deflating. Really sad to spend this kind of money for something so sub par.

Very beautiful home

Very spacious home located in a quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed the puzzles and games, and had no issues getting DoorDash delivered. We only stayed for one day, but enjoyed our time greatly, and would love to return.

Unmet Expectations

This property is a great location and would have been a 5 star review except for the fact that the master bedroom carpet smelled like dog/cat urine. We had to keep the door open even at night as the smell was overpowering. I communicated this to the host, but it took calling VRBO directly to get the host to respond to this issue. The property is close to Silver Dollar City and the interior space of the Villa is comfortable and open concept.

Point Royale 3 bedroom perfection

Beautiful place to stay in Point Royale. Close to the clubhouse where the Grill serves tasty breakfast. Nice neighborhood and lovely property; we want to cone back soon.

Wow! So dirty!

We were super excited about getting this villa. But, when we walked in it smelled like cigarettes! Bad! We found an ash tray on the upper deck and cigarette butts. The villa had not been swept or dusted. We found a old pizza in the oven. Towels in the dryer with a note that said they were too busy and would come back at our convenience. When your in Branson, nothing is convenient. Messaged the manager and they said they would message the cleaning team and they would come back. We couldn’t find the white key card for the gate. While we were gone they brought one and left on the counter. It didn’t work. They didn’t clean either. Also, we killed 10 wasps over 2 days. Finally, found a window open and that was where they were coming in. This would be a nice place to stay if it hadn’t been so dirty. We were very disappointed. We will stay at Pointe Royal again but not with this owner/company.

Great For Grand Puppies!

Excellent comms from host and property management. Nice property in a quiet golf resort -- just as advertised. Location met all the needs for our 5 adults with of couple of small doggies. Best deal/location for our budget. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Great Trip!

Found the condo as advertised. Really had no problems. It does allow pets but only the carpet shows it as it did appear to have some stains. Also saw other condo people bring their dogs over in the grassy area by this place so hopefully they cleaned up after themselves. There was cat poop in the rocks which we saw 4 (strays assuming) one night when we got back. The pool was crowded but it was 100 degrees out so understandable. The place was overall clean and very roomy and had everything we needed.

Quiet and Convenient

Beautiful, quiet gated community! It was perfect for our family, entry level master bedroom, bath, kitchen and living area was perfect for a disabled family member. The passcode lock did not work, we had to reach the owner to get an alternative method to get inside by using a key that was in a lock box. A service was to come and change the battery in the lock, they didn’t make it so we had to reach out to the owner again to ask his to lock up and secure the key. The owner was responsive.The water and ice dispenser in the refrigerator was not working. Other than those few issues, the property was beautiful.
