The staff and front desk were very accommodating but the rooms were very outdated. The bed was comfortable and the room was large but had very old recliners and really could use a table area. The laundry facilities were not operable and the breakfast was just adequate. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of options in the area for stopping through for the night. I feel the price didn’t match the value.

Quite a rundown property. Foyer and front reception very messy. Booked because pool was mentioned but the pool is actually two blocks up at the Lodge hotel which also owns the Bowman. Should be mentioned in the notes on the website. Quite room though and shower was good. Towels were ragged. Outrageous price for a not so good hotel.

Great stay

The stay was great, very nice staff. It was a small town hotel that met all our needs. It could probably use some upgrades but we liked it as it was. We had our dog with us, they even keep treats for pets there, our pet friendly room was very clean. We had a good breakfast in the morning and went on our way. We would stay there again.

Be aware there is not an elevator so you have to carry luggage up the stairs. Sheets had stains on them, carpet in hallway has holes, individual size shampoo was not full as if someone else had used it. Air conditioner was not on, so when we arrived on a day that was 100+ degrees it took for ever for it to cool off. Breakfast was pathetic. Bread and other items were put in ziplock bags, very limited on items, coffee was cold at 6:30 a.m. A family with 4 or 5 kids came down to eat right after us, only enough juice for 3 kids. Employee could be seen from the desk sitting on a couch in a room behind the counter playing on phone instead of replenishing items.

Our bedspreads were dirty and chair in room had stains on it. During the day, cleaning service came in and picked up a few things and got us new towels, however they threw away a few things that we wanted to keep. Although it is great that maids were cleaning, however it was very obnoxious hearing a vacuum constantly be run near our room. Free breakfast option is nice, although most of the food is pre-made and not freshly made. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom with plenty of access to soap if you didn’t bring any.

Pleasant stay

The front desk closes at 10 PM and we got there around 10:15. Called the number left at the desk and the front desk person was prompt and courteous, even though we called her back in to work.

We were just there to sleep. The room had a strong smell when we walked in. Bathroom clean/ sheets clean/ beds okay. They say offer complimentary breakfast- the waffle mix came out like water and everything else offered appeared old and stale. Nothing fresh.

Would stay again.

We stayed in the family suite. It had 3 queen beds and a sofa bed. I was delighted that the room did not have a smell as that turns me off right away. It was relatively clean, but I have high expectations. We were kind of bummed out it didn't have a pool, but come to find out that if you stay here you can use their sister hotel pool across the street. That part would have been very helpful as I had 5 kids with me that really wanted to go swimming. Overall I would stay again. The staff were nice and kind and even let us have breakfast a little late.
